Wheatfield Court

Excellent. I came to Wheatfield following knee surgery. I live alone and would have found it very difficult to manage without the care and support of your excellent team. They were pleasant, kind and very professional and enabled me to get on my feet and get back to my home and society. It is very important we keep this type of facility to enable people like me to become active again.

There are regular outings to places of interest in wheelchair adapted buses. We receive special celebrations and cake on birthdays etc.

Since arriving at Wheatfield Court I have received far more than I expected from all the staff from the medical team to all the other staff. The care has been excellent from everyone. The food has been exceptional, compliments to the chef.

I was only a resident for one week, was expecting two weeks but satisfactory, would of had another week, especially for the physio, but overall, satisfactory and made new friends.

The care and attention paid to my friend has been exemplary. Nothing was too big an ask. Not only was her physical comfort looked after, but her social and emotional needs were also addressed. I have witnessed genuine care, compassion and respect shown by all the staff involved. Added to this, the staff were always very welcoming to me, helpful and supportive.

I have been to many care homes and I can honestly say Wheatfield Court is one of the best. The staff and management are caring, lovely and professional. The staff on the Bronte Nursing Wing are amazing and the care they have given my friend is fantastic. The whole care home is clean, no smells, nice food and amazing staff.

My gran spent some time in Eden before moving into Wheatfield towards the end of 2023. I speak on behalf of my gran and the entire family, we can't thank the staff, carers, nurses and management for everything they have done. You treat my grandma with dignity, respect, genuine love and care. My gran is very happy, so happy she called Wheatfield, 'home', something we never thought would be possible. My gran made the decision to move in full-time as she felt safe and her quality of life was better. She has only been there a short time but I am so impressed by everything, the staff are attune to my grandma's health needs and I strongly feel their quick response has prevented my grandma from further hospital admissions and got her through the winter months. She has been able to personalise her room to which she has said is just perfect. The communication is outstanding. We see everyone at Wheatfield as our extended family. We have landed on our feet with the manager and the team!

It is a happy caring establishment where you as a patient feel valued and respected.

Wheatfield Court is perfect beyond words, management, carers, cleaners kitchen staff are all amazing. The care is very high standards. Everyone is so friendly and helpful nothing is any bother. It's so good for my family knowing my mam is being looked after in her last years.

Cannot fault this home. My wife has dementia and has been treated with kindness and care by all the staff nothing has been too much trouble.

Excellent staff and care. We needed something between the hospital and home and this was exactly right. The nurse explained everything clearly when we arrived and the staff were always helpful and friendly.

My mother was admitted into the care home following a fall, she was there for a month, the care and rehabilitation was outstanding. Every member of staff from the cleaner to the sister was so friendly and respectful and my mother was well cared for and happy there. Nothing was too much bother, they are all a credit to the social care sector.

This is the second time I have been a resident of Eden Court. I can honestly say, the standard of care is brilliant. Following a leg amputation, the staff have installed confidence in me to return to my own home.

I was transferred here from the hospital when initially I thought that I was being discharged. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to see how immaculately clean Eden Lodge was and I was very overwhelmed by all of the kindness from every single member of staff from the daytime staff all the way through to the night staff, who work extremely hard 12-hour shifts, for very little wages. I would like to thank everybody who looked after me while I stayed at Eden Lodge. Thank you all so very much.

Since I have been here I have had a very good experience. Well looked after by all the staff, especially in the dining room and by the physiotherapists. I have enjoyed my stay at Eden Court at Wheatfield Court.

Lovely welcoming care facility. The staff have been very, helpful and supportive. Doctors have been amazing, and nurses are so helpful, caring communicative with family. Lovely activities, quizzes, beauty and parties. Felt so welcome. If there were any negatives it would be the carpets could be cleaner and fresher and brighter bedding.
