Thank you for your positive feedback. We very much appreciate you taking the time to review our service; it really does mean a great deal to us. Your feedback will be shared with the team. Kind regards.
My father has been in the care home for approximately 6 months. The staff there are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much of a problem for them. I see how they genuinely care for my father and are kind, considerate and passionate about their roles. I cannot thank staff enough and feel secure and confident that my father is receiving the best care possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review of our service, and for the lovely feedback you have provided. It does mean so much to us to know that we are meeting the expectations of those we are here to support. We genuinely appreciate your comments, which will be shared with the team and received with warmth and happiness. Take care.
My father in law is currently receiving end of life care on the nursing floor.
He has been in the care of Evergreens for 10 weeks.
EVERY member of the team from management to nursing staff to carers to chef to cleaning and admin staff have been outstanding. The testimony to this is my father in laws reaction every time a staff member makes themselves known to him in his room. He simply beams and always attempts to say hello.
They know us, his family, by first name. Even when staff members are scheduled to work downstairs they have been popping in to check on him during the last stages of his care.
Our well being as been a central part of his care too.
I've also heard and witnessed great care and interaction with all residents. Up and downstairs. So genuine, respectful and happy.
Thank you so much for your kind words, especially at such a difficult time for you all. There is nothing more important than getting things right at these times and it is very reassuring to hear that we have. You have all been a pleasure to support and you have always shown gratitude and...
I have nothing but praise for this care home, having had a bad experience in a previous respite placement, the team at evergreens i can't fault at all, they've worked with us and my dad to get him back to where his health and wellbeing should be after months of hospital stays and moving to unfamiliar places, as a person who works in the emergency services and in care I was hesident to place my dad in care but I have no issues at all with the staff or home, his needs are met and he's happy, his dementia is looked after and as a new resident it takes time to get to know someone's moods, personality etc, but the team have got him spot on. It's the little things the team do with regards to support towards family and my dad, which make his time in care better.
Thank you so much for sharing this feedback about The Evergreens. We can imagine the how worrying it must be to take a chance on anywhere after past negative experiences. We are grateful that you took a chance on us and we are glad that we are doing the right things to make your dad's experience as...
My Mam has been in Evergreens since February 2022. Her move there wasn't planned but circumstances dictated she couldn't stay at home. It hasn't been an easy journey to get her settled but we've had good support from the staff and manager.
The staff definitely know my Mams needs which are at times challenging but they deal with it well and in a very caring manner.
I feel confident my Mam is getting looked after well and feel quite confident to bring up issues as I feel necessary. I am told regularly my Mam is 'resident of day' and is there anything I want added to the careplan however I rarely do as these issues are usually dealt with when I raise them anyway.
The staff also get to know family members and are very friendly to us as a family.
There have been times when I've needed to escalate things which I have done by contacting the manager direct. I do this with confidence knowing he will deal with it and its always sorted quickly.
Thank you so much for sharing you and your Mam's experience of The Evergreens. It's good to read how well you feel supported by the staff and management. It's so helpful for people new to the care seeker experience to read a first hand account that is so honest. With best wishes, Group Business Development Director
My experience and that of my aunt has been nothing but positive. My aunt is supported to be as independent as she can - when this at times has fluctuated then staff have changed that support to match her needs. I am kept informed of any changes to my aunt's presentation immediately so I feel reassured about her being in a care home - also she sees Evergreens as her home where she has friends and she sees the staff as friends too. I feel fortunate that she is somewhere she feels happy.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. The fact that your aunt sees The Evergreens as home and the staff as friends is testament to the amazing work they do and support they provide. By writing this review you have not only enabled our staff members to read what a significant impact they...
My friend took a while to settle at first, but she loves it there now. She trys to join in some of the activities and loves joining in singing. The carers are brilliant, the way they treat the residents with respect and kindness, everyone I have met since my friend moved there are very nice even with me I'm made welcome and feel at home. So to everyone who work for you THANK YOU for the care you go e to my friend.
What a lovely review, thank you so much for taking the time to write it.You really made me smile, picturing your friend enjoying singing. It's great to read that you too feel welcome and at home. With best wishes, Group Business Development Director
I was made welcome with my husband and baby. Sharing a laugh with all the residents and staff.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. This means a lot to us.
The care as usual is first class, the staff looked after Mam physically but also mentally making Mam laugh.
Thank you so much for your kind words. This means a great deal to us.
It's reassuring to know she's safe and being well looked after, and has plenty of company and things to do if and when she wants.
The home itself has a lovely 'family' feel, the bedrooms are clean and comfortable and the extensive garden is a big plus, especially in the summer.
Many thanks to all the staff for the care and support they provide.
Thank you kindly for your positive feedback. This is very much appreciated and will be shared with the team. Thanks again.
We were recommended The Evergreens Care Centre by friends of the family who had their own relative there last year. They told us the care was outstanding and we agree. Ever so happy with the care our father received.
Thank you for your kind feedback. As always, it means a great deal to us to know we are on the right track. I will share your words with the team and I know they will appreciate them as much as I do. Thanks again.
My gran has been in The Evergreens Care Centre for a few months now and I can't say a bad word about the staff. Even if anything has gone wrong, the manager listens and responds quickly to resolve things. My family are made to feel welcome and never feel like we can't ask questions. Nothing is too much bother. The home is always clean and smells clean too. It is homely and has a friendly atmosphere. Most importantly of all, Gran is happy and looks well and it's easy to see she is well cared for and the staff actually care about what they are doing and have a lot of pride. It's so reassuring for me and Mum to know that Gran is in good hands. Thank you so much to you all.
Thank you for your positive feedback. It does make the difference to know we are keeping people happy and satisfied. I will make the team aware of your comments. They are most appreciated. Thank you.
I am the daughter of a resident and happy to use this care home we had our mam in 3 years ago. Now the family have had no choice but to put Dad in this care home after his discharge from hospital was full-time care. The staff are amazing and Dad is well looked after and is settling in nicely, knowing he is in a safe place and well looked after. Keep up the good work to all the staff. They work really hard to make our relatives comfortable and happy, great to see some of the staff still there from when we were last there.
Thank you so much for your feedback and for trusting us once more with the care of a parent. It means so much to us. The team feel proud to have your dad here with us. Thank you.
We as a family have used this home in the past for my mother in her dying days and everybody involved in this home was totally professional in the care they showed back in 2019. Recently we sorted care for my father and again I contacted Evergreen through a senior member of the nursing staff. The lady was so helpful and guided me through the process to make the transfer of my parent from hospital into nursing care simple, relieving the family of a lot of the stress involved. Since my parent has been in the home, the care shown has been exceptional from all members of staff involved in this home. The facilities are excellent for the residents' needs and the home is always well maintained and is always clean when entering. Never do you experience odours related to elderly care on entering due to the high level of cleanliness carried out by the staff. I want to thank all the members of management and staff for the continuous support shown and I cannot praise them enough for the care they give Dad.
Thank you for your positive and kind feedback. It is a privilege to have your father here with us and it means a great deal to us that you have faith in us to provide the quality of care you would expect for a parent. Your comments will be most appreciated by all.
My dad has had a challenging life with his health over the last 3 years, where the family has looked after him and this year he's got worse with his mobility. Incontinence has been a very stressful and challenging time and dad was sent to Evergreens from the hospital. The care dad is getting is second to none. He's getting well looked after, staff are always there when you need to speak to them and are very friendly. The home is very clean and well organised.
Thank you for your kind and positive words. It really does mean so much to the team to hear this feedback. Thank you for choosing us and trusting us with the care of your father. We understand what a big deal it is to trust anyone with the care of a loved one and we are glad that we have not let you down.
My Mum has been at The Evergreens since we had to make the hard decision of her requiring full-time care. Initially, she was in the residential part of the care home, and subsequently, after an illness, she moved into the first-floor nursing part of the home. Both rooms she has had have been lovely and have everything she needs. The care she has had and is getting has been brilliant and we cannot thank all the staff enough for taking such good care of her. Nothing is ever a problem and someone is always available, should we need to talk. A very well run home with excellent staff throughout and although it was a hard decision to make at the outset, it was the right one as the care Mum gets is excellent. Thank you all.
Thank you kindly for your positive feedback. It is genuinely lovely to hear. This means so much to the team and we all appreciate it.
