Windsor Court is a North Tyneside residential, nursing and dementia care home in which staff takes the health and hygiene of up to forty-five service users very seriously, though aiming for a homely and enjoyable living environment.

Residents enjoy the choice of three lounges as well as their own sensory garden, while being assisted in maintaining as much independence as they feel comfortable with over their own lives and in the surrounding community.

Special dietary requirements are incorporated into a menu of traditional home-baking, with each Ladhar Group care home having their own Head Chef.

My husband was placed in the home for emergency respite due to home carers unable to lift/move him safely in our home. The staff were so helpful to both me and my husband. The manager is especially lovely and friendly. I will definitely use this home again, as I have peace of mind that my husband is
being well cared for.

We as a family can not thank the staff enough for the care of my mam.
Care, food, excellent.
I only have one fault which is there only being one lift and when broken is out of action for long periods. This was a concern for us but staff happy to move Mam to lower floor (well done). Thank you.

With all dealings with Windsor Court, I have received honest and friendly responses, especially over this worrisome time. I am kept informed on my uncle's health and wellbeing, which alleviates a huge weight as I am the only relative local and have a heavy load with my husband and mother. I look forward

My mum is in this care home and it's a lot better than it was. She's talking to more residents and doing a lot more activities. The only thing is when the activities co-ordinator is off the staff don't get involved with residents, so most of the weekend they do nothing but sit and sleep as most don't
watch tv.

I have found the staff very good, I have been coming to see my friend since she has been in this home. I have always found her to be well dressed and she seems to be well looked after. I have found the staff to be very helpful and in my case, if I had a relation like her, I would recommend this home.

My husband has been in Windsor Court about two months now.
I am very happy with the care he has received.
The staff are good as is the food.
Not too sure of how many activities are conducted as I am not there all of the time to observe.
The home is very clean.

Windsor Court is a very homely friendly care home, there is always something going on singalongs, outings, tea dances etc. My mother is very happy there and the carers are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them. My mother's room is very comfortable and kept to a very high standard, the food
looks lovely and nothing is too much trouble if my mother wants something different from what's being served. Me and my family feel we couldn't have chosen a nicer place, my mother gets care second to none.

Windsor Court is a very good care home.
The staff are just fantastic and are lovely with my mum who can be a bit difficult at times.
I would recommend this home because of the staff, the care and dignity that is shown towards my mum is lovely.
It helps the family to know that our mum is being looked
after with such care and understanding, is just fantastic and helps our family loads.

I have visited this home for 18 years on a weekly basis and always found the staff to be very caring and most of the staff are long serving, not a lot of staff turnaround. They treat residents with great dignity and care particularly with end of life care with staff coming in on their day off to see
the residents have someone with them at all times. This is the only home where the staff always attend a funeral.


The home has three floors with women only on two floors and men only on one floor with male staff looking after the male floor and women care workers on the women's floor. This gives great dignity to the residents.

My mother-in-law was a resident between January and April 2018. The care she received during her stay was second to none. She was always clean and well cared for. On the day she passed away we were treated with care and compassion. The staff are so lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

I believe my nana is getting a good standard of care. The staff are very caring and I always get a friendly welcome. The home is clean, tidy and homely. After visiting other care home I am confident that the family and I have chosen the best home for nana's needs and care.
