Chichester Court Care Home

I found this care home to be extremely good. The staff were fantastic. They looked after my mam very very well. I'll never forget all of them, once again thank you and God bless.

My mam went into Chichester Court in April. She was fast-tracked from the hospital as she was expected to pass away fairly quickly; however, with all the support and care the staff gave Mam, she picked up and started gaining weight and had an additional six months that we got to be with her. I cannot fault any of the care and support they have given to all our family. Thank you so much.

The staff were always professional and courteous but their care went well beyond this. They all showed great patience, compassion and love for my mother, my father and the rest of the family throughout her time with you. Thank you.

We as s family are very happy with my mother's care and support. Management have excellent communication with families and they are available to speak to as and when needed, they are very professional and very understanding to the concerns that we as a family, may have. Care staff are very caring towards residents and some do a lot more to support residents. My concern is the amount of staff on shift is very limited at times and this is a concern for us as less staff less care. I am also aware that this problem is in most care facilities. I believe the care home needs maintenance work eg: paint and look more hygenic.

Excellent home, staff are very friendly and welcoming., treated my auntie with dignity in her last years of life. She said she was very content and happy. Staff always keep us informed of any situation. One word comes to mind, quality.

Staff were also very supportive to me, especially in my mam's last days. Thank you.

My dad had been in Chichester Court Care Home for seven years, he died on 12/03/2023. The staff had always been wonderful with him, especially as he had very challenging behaviour with his dementia.

Dad is very well looked after. We are always informed on how he is doing. He is well-fed and always dressed well when I visit.

Mam has been in since the fifth of December. Very happy with the care she has recieved. Staff very helpful and keep us up to date with any issues/problems with Mam.

Would recommend to friends and family. very nice, clean and friendly place. The staff are good, they are there at all times if we need any advice. Pleasant atmosphere.

My mother received excellent and personal care at Chichester Court Care Home. The staff have developed a relationship with her and she is always treated with dignity and respect. They are also understanding and helpful whenever we visit as we don't live locally. There are a wide range of activities available for residents, my mother is particularly fond of animal visits. A good system of video calls was put in place during the pandemic, showing how management is able to adapt to circumstances. My mother was kept safe during that time.

My dad is well looked after by competent and friendly staff. His room is clean with a comfortable bed, television and comfortable chair. Nursing staff frequently look in and say hello; food is good and snacks and drinks are provided; my dad is kept cleanly dressed too.

Chichester Court Care Home is a really nice home to put your family in. This care home has lovely carers and nurses. Well looked after.

My mother, aged 84, was admitted to Chichester Court Care Home on 8th June 2022. It was initially for two weeks respite. It became clear that it was going to be permanent. Her health deteriorated very quickly and she sadly passed away on 11th September. The care home - Chichester Court was amazing. The nurses and care workers really looked after Mam, two members of staff were there when she passed. Lovely home and very kind staff, much appreciated.

This gives me peace of mind.

My mother has been a resident for just over a month. We have been very pleased to see the high level of care she has received and this is reflected by her mood and appearance. All staff have been helpful and none have ever looked harassed! It is always hard for someone to leave a home where they have lived most of their life but I can see my mother is enjoying being looked after and not having to worry.

Only issue is decor but they’re in the middle of decorating the rooms at the moment.

My dad has been part of the Chichester Court Care Home family now for sixteen months. I say family as that's the sense I feel when I visit my dad. We have been made to feel so welcome at every visit by the manager and her amazing staff. Thank you all. It's been quite a stressful year and it was so difficult when Dad had to go into care but I feel a sense of relief that he is in the best of hands. He is always smartly dressed, clean-shaven and his hair is always neat. My dad has always taken pride in his appearance so it's lovely to see my lovely dad looking as smart and handsome as ever. So thank you again to the manager and your amazing staff who work tirelessly to look after our loved ones. You're all amazing.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Chichester Court Care Home.
