The care given to my nana over the past 6 years has been good. Overall some of the staff have been exceptional, particularly in the past 3-6 months where my nana's health has deteriorated to the point where she is now on palliative care.

My mum was admitted to Hebburn Court after a hospital stay. Her prognosis wasn’t good. She’d suffered bleeds on her brain after a fall and had complete left side paralysis and no speech at all. She also has Alzheimer’s. Things didn’t look too optimistic at all. However, thanks to the patience and care
she has received, she is now fully mobile, has her speech back and has her life back. Whilst lockdown has been difficult, she has never been happier for years. She’s busy all day helping staff cleaning! The activities they have been brilliant. They keep her occupied and content. Nothing is too much bother. She’s got her new family around her and my mind is completely at rest knowing she is safe and happy. She’s well fed and pampered. I would highly recommend Hebburn Court, the manager, administrator and every staff member. They are absolutely fabulous. Thank you.

The care my late uncle received during his 2 1/2 years at Hebburn Court was outstanding. All staff members were wonderful to him even arranging to take him to a heritage railway as they knew he used to work on the railways. He even put weight on during his time spent there due to the gorgeous homemade
food served to residents. Our family are so grateful for their dedication especially arranging entertainment on his birthday. Each visit we were always met with courteous staff. We would have no hesitation recommending Hebburn Court to other families.

My sister has been a resident at Hebburn Court Care Home since January 2019. Previously, she lived alone but the last 3 years she suffered from heart problems, a bleed on the brain leading to dementia and no longer able to look after herself, she is a completely different person now. She has settled
in so well, mixed in with other residents and made some friends. She now feels safe and cared for. This is all down to the loving care she receives from all the staff. It is a very happy environment. She is lucky to be part of it.

All staff are very efficient, very helpful, very well run, so understanding and they make you welcome. It has a homely feeling and nothing was a problem.
People looked well cared for, happy faces. The building seems more like a hotel - spotless, nice and fresh. My father has only been in for a couple
of days but it feels like home.
The manager is so supportive and is around at all times.

My husband stayed for one week respite care. Contact with the Deputy Manager prior to admission was very positive. On my first visit to Hebburn Court, I was very impressed with the welcome I received and the friendliness of all staff members I met. The room was excellent - very well presented and comfortable.
Everything possible was made to make my husband comfortable and reassured. I am hopeful that my husband can return.

Well, what can I say, the care home and its staff are excellent. The care they give my Mam is 110%. Her everyday needs are catered for in her personal hygiene, her interaction on a day to day basis. Excellent care and I would not hesitate to recommend the care home. It is very clean, the food is good
and again the staff treat the patients and Mam as one of their own family. Well done everybody!

All the staff and residents are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The home has a lovely atmosphere from the moment you enter. The home looked lovely and festive as they were gettings started for Christmas. I also stayed for my lunch and the food was lovely. The home also smelt lovely on

My aunt moved into Hebburn Court care home on Monday 13th August. We were welcomed by ALL staff who introduced themselves. They were all extremely pleasant. The home is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I visited on 15th August and we were over the

moon with how she looks. She looks the best we have seen her in months. She's had her hair done and is very very happy. Thank you.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.853)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.853) out of 10 for Hebburn Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 11 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.194 for Hebburn Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (50 Excellents x 5) + (54 Goods x 4) + (25 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 129 Ratings = 4.194
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.659 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Hebburn Court Care Home is based on 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.75
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 55 registered maximum number of service users is 11. 10 Positive Reviews ÷ 11 = 0.909
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
