The extensively trained team will deliver all the specialist care and support services that loved ones require.

Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make the resident's stay with the home that little bit more enjoyable.

Assisted by suggestions from the residents, the home’s wellbeing coordinators organise a varied year-round programme of things to do.

Whenever I have visited Falstone Court the staff and manager have always been extremely welcoming. I know my Gran is well looked after and as a family gives us peace of mind. My Gran is always involved in activities. Lovely home to visit.

My aunt came in during Covid in 2020 at a difficult time when we couldn't visit. The staff were fantastic in settling my aunt in, keeping me up to date with her health. I live in Leeds and was very knowing my aunt was in safe hands and being very well looked after. The manager and her team are fantastic
and have always been there for myself and my aunt.

I can't recommend Falstone Court enough, they treat my nana with respect and dignity till the very end. The support, not only for my nana, but our family in our time of need was impeccable. My dad has only been at Falstone Court Care Home for a short time, so far, after moving from another care home in the South Tyneside area, but I have been extremely impressed with what I have seen so far and the level of care and personal attention he has received from the staff, especially compared
to the previous care he received elsewhere. The staff are extremely engaging with him, he is unable to communicate through normal means and they do their utmost to assess his needs and meet them accordingly. Everyone I have met from the management to the cleaning staff always seem to have a smile on their face and it’s very reassuring for the family to know our loved one is being looked after so well.

My mam has only been at Falstone Court since the end of July. A very difficult decision to make putting Mam into care.
However, over time Mam has settled days and non-settled days but from day one the staff have been amazing with her and me and my family and the facilities are perfect. Thank you all.

This is a new experience for our family. Feel very fortunate that the care home is so close to the resident's family home and especially, my sister with whom the resident lived with.
All staff are very knowledgeable of our situation and offer support on a variety of levels of care, advice on visiting,
medical attention and the daily/nightly needs of the resident. Staff are friendly and approachable at all times.
Generally happy with facilities although my mum may benefit from a shower in her room.
Overall, we, as a family, are delighted she is safe and well as can be expected.

My Nana came to the home end of January this year suffering with Dementia and unhappy from the last home. Ever since she moved into Falstone, her spirits were lifted. She made friends with all the staff and the staff enjoyed her company. The family could see a change in her and she seemed a lot happier.
The home looked after her so well and she spent her last few months of her life happy. Due to covid restrictions, she was torn away from family, which was important to her, but the home did their best to ensure she could see family, even if it was safer through a window or a video call. When restrictions eased, the home allowed her to see more family. The staff left us to it and during the warmer days, we would sit outside in their beautiful garden, filled with flowers, ornaments and even parts that the residents could attend to themselves. I would recommend this to anyone who wants their relative to have a place that feels like home. On behalf of all my family, thank you Falstone.

My husband has been in Falstone Court for two years. In the last year, he has had Covid and required three hospital stays for another condition. Through all of this, we have been treated with dignity, compassion and kindness. Every member of staff should be highly recommended for their professional
care. Even when they are mentally and physically shattered, they never falter to give a kind word or reassurance to myself in my darkest of times. They have been brilliant with my husband, always going the extra mile. The manager sails Falstone through good and difficult times. She makes Falstone what it is, a privilege to be part of. All Falstone staffs are my angels and heroes. Thank you so much. Love you all. Hope to be back together soon.

My mum has been a resident of Falstone Court Nursing Home for a number of years now and as a family, we are extremely happy with the care mum receives. The care home staff and management are very professional, caring and like an extended family to my mum - my sister and I never worry about her and know
that she is always kept safe and well, and especially in these very challenging times. The activities organised by the care home are just amazing, totally inclusive and I know that mum always has a wonderful time when she has taken part in these especially singing and dancing which are her favourite pastimes. I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Falstone Court as a nursing home that understands dementia, is able to engage with its residents at all levels, provides exceptional care and attention to detail, and more importantly makes my mum's life happy and active one.
