My mam was a resident in Maple Lodge Care Home for just a short time, the experience was excellent. The management and care home staff were great to me and my family and we have no regrets about choosing Maple Lodge. I will always be in their debt for what they've done for my mother. With all my love.

Maple Lodge is a wonderful care home. All staff are attentive, kind and caring and we are so grateful our mam is being so well looked after. It is so lovely to see her smiling and being involved in activities with the friends she has made. For us as her family this is heartwarming and reassuring to see. Thank you so much to everyone!

If you are considering a home-from-home care setting for a loved one, I unreservedly recommend Maple Lodge.
The staff are led by a very approachable, kind care manager who listens to her staff, residents and relatives and is hands-on, strong, inspiring and motivational. This truly is the success of her team, working together and creating a very happy environment.
Our parents went to live at the care home 18 months ago, at a very vulnerable time in their lives and needed to be safe.
Sadly, our mother passed away last December.
The staff are outstanding in caring for our dad during his furthering dementia decline. Decisions and attention to detail made to ensure that he is given the best possible care for his rapidly changing situation is appreciated. We, as a family, recognise the importance of this provision for his dignity and choice.

We thank you all so very much and feel blessed that our parents came to live at Maple Lodge, surrounded by so much love from everyone who works there.

My mam was at Maple Lodge for nearly four years until she passed at the beginning of October. We were so fortunate to find this lovely establishment where all the staff and management looked after Mam with great respect and dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend Maple Lodge to anyone looking for first-class care for a loved one.

My Mam had to go into a care home when my Dad died of Covid. It was in lockdown, it was hard. I have found the staff are excellent, we had video chat with Mam but that was better than nothing. I feel my Mam is happy, well looked after and all staff are lovely. The gardens are also well maintained. The residents are always doing lots of activities.

Dad had previously been to two homes and they were unable to meet his needs. Maple Lodge Care Home and its staff provided an excellent service to Dad. They were caring and fully attended to his needs and gave him the dignity and care he needed. I wish Dad had gone to this home originally and he would have been more settled and happy in his final few months. I would not hesitate to recommend this home for your loved ones based on our experience.

My dad was a resident at Maple Lodge for approximately three years, until he passed away two weeks ago. We cannot praise this care home enough. The management and care staff have been excellent, throughout my dad’s stay. The staff quickly built a pleasing relationship with my dad and made him feel ‘at home’ throughout his time there.

The communication, with us, his family, has been fantastic, even throughout the crazy Covid situation. We are so pleased that his final few years were spent at this smashing establishment.

I don't really know where to start with a review of Maple Lodge because no praise is too much praise, and no words can really do justice to the care that every single woman and man showed to my mum, who was a resident there for four years. The home itself is great, but a building, its furniture or its tables and chairs isn't really what makes a care home great. A care home is only as good as the people who work there and who care for the residents, and on every count, the staff at Maple Lodge were absolutely wonderful for and to my mum, and she thought the world of all of them. Their kindness and their willingness to fulfil whatever needs she had were limitless. And these aren't just words without real meaning - it comes from the heart. The level of care in every way went beyond what anyone could expect, and the staff treated my mother just like they would treat their own mothers or how they would wish their own family to be treated by others. My eternal gratitude to everyone.

My dad has been a resident here for over a year. He passed away today but he was looked after by the fabulous caring staff. I can't praise them enough. He was treated with dignity and respect even when he had infections etc and hallucinations and was throwing his false teeth at them. Thank you Maple Lodge staff and thank you to the previous manager because he loved having chats with you.

I went into Maple Lodge Care Home for short term care as I needed some extra support and could not be on my own at home. I was very nervous when I went to stay at Maple Lodge Care Home and kept in my bedroom for the first week. The staff came in and chatted with me numerous times throughout the day and introduced themselves; it was very welcoming and built my confidence. I started going into the communal rooms and got friendly with other service users and I started to enjoy my stay. Without the support of the staff team, I would have probably had a miserable stay, but they changed all that. I respect and admire their courage, confidence and hard work. Thank you, especially to six particular members of staff. All the staff are fantastic and service users are fabulous. Thank you to you all for the whole experience.

My mum has lived here since November 2019, with dementia and physical ailments requiring nursing care. The carers and nursing staff have all been lovely with my mum, who shows confidence and appreciation to them in return.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming for residents and families. Staff are always approachable and take a very active personal interest.
Residents are encouraged to join in as they are able to the wide range of events and activities, which provide constructive stimulation and enjoyment. Residents and staff participate together, e.g. the Winter Olympics, "arts and crafts, cooking, reminiscing, quizzes, bingo or just having a good old sing-along", and Gardening Club (indoors and out). Staff spend time getting to know residents in one to one times.

The staff fulfil the manager’s approach that this is the residents' home and that they want to make it as comfortable and satisfying as possible, and she thanks families "for allowing us to care for your loved ones".

Mam went into Maple Lodge in September 2021. She has mixed dementia with underlying health conditions. Mam is leaving the home to return to a home that was destroyed by fire but has now been rebuilt. The home is nearer her family and the place she used to live. Mam has received excellent care whilst in Maple Lodge. She has become more settled and has commented on several occasions that she loves the staff. So we will always be grateful to them. We have always been able to call the home anytime, and have always been made to feel welcome. However, we feel the home itself needs improvement. Mam has a room upstairs and I must say, the difference in decor from downstairs to upstairs is clearly visible. Downstairs being more cosy and homely but upstairs is stark. This is also something Mam has commented on several times even with her poor sight. We know upstairs is EMI, but surely it deserves the same attention to detail. This is through no fault of staff, but Four Seasons. Thanks to all.

On behalf of our family, I would like to thank all the staff at Maple Lodge for the exemplary care given to our dad during his time at Maple Lodge.
During the last few days of Dad's life, the care and love shown towards our dad was beyond any words I can find to share.

Thank you all once again. The work you all do is a credit to your profession.
