Needham has improved over the last few months. Management have listened to my concerns and acted on them. Cleanliness has improved but certain things are still an issue. Needham has been painted, kitchen installed. Floors are new and furniture has been replaced. Value for money I can't compare.

My mother in law has been living in Needham Court for over a year now. The staff at Needham have made her life so much better. They support both us & my mother in law so much. They are so kind& caring but also down to earth making our lives so much better. They are a credit to Needham Court.

Needham Court & the staff are amazing. They have welcomed my mum into the Needham family making a hard time so much easier. It's not easy to make a decision to move into a care home but the staff have made i so much easier for us all. I would highly recommend Needham Court to anyone looking for a care

I strongly advise against sending any family member to this care home. My mother was a resident for just over 14 months, and throughout her time there, the quality of care was consistently poor. The hygiene standards were unacceptable; her room was rarely cleaned, and her medication was not properly
supervised. During her stay, tablets were repeatedly found unattended. My mother was self-funding her care, which makes the substandard conditions and lack of proper oversight all the more concerning.
Despite raising numerous concerns during her residency, none of these issues were documented or recorded by the staff. Furthermore, my mother was left alone in her room for days at a time, with no meaningful stimulation or engagement. Witnessing her treatment was heart-breaking and undignified. Even the staff expressed their own reservations, indicating they would not entrust their own family members to Needham Court. Please consider this care home carefully before making any decisions.

At HC-One we pride ourselves on providing the kindest care to our residents and apologise if you feel your mother did not receive the quality of care during her stay. I can assure you that our infection control is robust and monthly audits of infection control are carried out with in the home. All our senior care assistants are fully trained in medication administration, and we sincerely apologise if you felt that at times your mother’s medication was not supervised at the medicine round. Our wellbeing team that helps to ensure our Residents have access to the activities on offer, even if this is a quiet chat in their room. As a family we all find the level of care given by all of the staff is exceptional, carers, cleaners, laundry and kitchen, management and nursing. My husband has been a resident at Needham Court Care Home for eight months. In that time he has been very well cared for and treated with the utmost dignity by all staff. Everyone at the home goes above and beyond with the compassion and care for both residents and families. We are kept informed at

My sister has been a resident now since November 2023. I have constantly found the personal care and commission with family very difficult. Whenever staff are asked about her care and plan of care, there is never a senior staff member available. I have had to be proactive in getting outside services
involved in her care and the staff never provided me with feedback. On several occasions, I have found her sitting in her room with a meal in front of her not touched. On one occasion, I had to cut the meal up to assist her in eating it. Medication was found in her food and when asked about pain relief staff were not able to give me the response to the question. The carpet in the room was very dirty and food trodden into the carpet around her seat.
General overall care on several visits was limited and the purchase of birthday presents went missing - staff stating they didn't know where they were. I have made several complaints and had meetings with the deputy and staff on the unit - no response to verbal or written complaints.

I have found all the care staff, manager and the whole team who work at Needham Court. Excellent at their job, they are all caring, supportive, efficient and very helpful if asked a question. They work with residents' families and learn about the person who they look after.
I have been very impressed
with the overall running, cleanliness and care of all the staff and management. They deserve top marks for their overall performance.

Warm, welcoming home, where everyone is friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Always kept up to date with the care of our dad. Feels like a second home, somewhere he is settled, which is a huge relief.

I have just attended a coffee morning today the girls pulled out all the stops made everyone feel welcome and the carer made the most delicious chocolate cake that my grandson who was with me had 2 slices of, can't wait for the next one.

My mother received a wonderful, warm and friendly welcome. She was greeted by various members of staff, such as the chef who asked if she had any likes or dislikes, head of laundry labelled and listed her clothes straight away. There were flowers, a cute cushion and best of all the carers reassured
her they were there to help in any way needed. Mum is enjoying her meals in the pleasant dining room, meeting others and doing lots of activities.

My mother-in-law has been in Needham Care Home for a number of months now due to her having strokes and being unable to live at home alone. I'm writing this review on behalf of myself, her son and her daughter. We want to thank all of the staff for everything they do for her, making her feel so welcome.
The staff are so friendly here and always make time for their residents. They have lots of different events on in the home to get the residents to socialise with each other and have fun. They always make such a good effort for special celebrations throughout the year with decorations and having raffles etc. It's not an easy job so I want to thank each and every one of you for all that you do in making my mother-in-law feel safe, welcome and loved.
