We had a celebration for Mam's 92nd birthday. The activity coordinator arranged everything; balloons, savory food. We brought the cakes and biscuits. We did not expect, or assume this would happen. The staff were all absolutely amazing. They joined in singing Happy Birthday making videos and taking photographs. Our relatives stated they could understand why we chose Bryony Lodge - the staff are so caring and genuine. They loved the building and Mam's room.

I cannot thank all the staff enough for what they do for Mam and her continuing care.

My mum continues to receive exceptional and attentive care. Her room is kept clean and tidy, she enjoys the range of food she is offered and Michelle (activity co-ordinator) ensures she is included and looked after as if she was her own.

I cannot praise the home and care she receives enough.

Mary has settled well and is clean and cared for. She is enjoying the meals and chats with staff regularly. She has been encouraged to join other residents in the lounge areas and takes part in home activities where she can.

We have been so lucky to have found this home for my 93 yr old mum. The staff & set up is excellent. They couldn't do any more for my mum. It's like home from home in fact better. My mind is completely at ease knowing she couldn't receive any better care anywhere else. I would gladly move in myself its that good.

Mother-in-law has been well cared for since coming in Dec 2024. She has been failing recently but suddenly because much more unwell last week. It became apparent this was end of life. The kindness, care & compassion of all the staff was above and beyond. Mother in law was treated with respect and dignity throughout and we cannot thank them enough.

Absolutely amazing place, wonderful staff and setting. My father was only here for 3 weeks until he passed but the staff were like a second family to him. I'm so grateful that he got to spend his last days in a warm comfortable place with people who genuinely care. I only wish he could have been there longer.

In the main Mams stay here has been excellent save for a few little niggles that have been resolved quickly. Staff are lovely & friendly and deal with difficult situations with fortitude. Management have been very forgiving when I have forgotten to pay Mams fees - thank you!

We looked at many other care homes before placing Mam here and this was by far the best we saw. Glad she's here!

My mam has been here for 5 years and she is very happy. The place is a relaxing home and the staff are so approachable. Their care for my mam is second to none, especially the last 6 weeks as my mam has been poorly. There are always activities and coffee mornings, which we are always welcome to go to.

Very welcoming home, wonderful staff and informative re. activities, church groups, one-to-one well-being, tea and coffee mornings and one-to-one care, e.g. well-being chats.
Lots of opportunities to have sensory engagement as corridors have lots of, presently, festive arrangements.

Unfortunately, I am unable to comment on all the ratings as I am only able to visit weekly, representing the church to administer Holy Communion to my friend as I have done during her home life prior to entry to the home.

Hi, I am the Home Manager here at Bryony Lodge Nursing Home!

I am proud to say that I am a dedicated qualified registered manager I have completed QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management. And I am fortunate to be in a position to lead such a wonderful group of staff I have worked in healthcare since I was 19 and started out as a healthcare assistant within a care home providing complex nursing care for residents, as well as rehabilitation and palliative care. I also managed a Home Care business where I provided help and support into the community.

I love my role at Bryony Lodge and take great pride in supporting the team. The nurses and the staff are a dedicated and well-established group, and are all very proactive. I live local to the care home so I have good knowledge of the area.

Our staff are what holds the home together. Each one of these team members are dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring the residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home.v
