Brierton Lodge Care Home

My only complaint, would be access on a weekend. Dad (who is 90 years old), has stood for ten to fifteen minutes waiting for someone to open the door. I appreciate staff are busy without having to keep coming and opening the door. Maybe visitors who are regular visitors should be provided with a code or employ someone to be in the office on a weekend to open the door.

I cannot thank them enough for the care that has been given to my wife as she was a carer for twenty years herself. The staff have been very, very good as my wife still thinks she is at work sometimes and they let her think she is.

I feel that the care my sister is getting at Brierton Lodge is very good. The staff are always there to help. Very pleasant.

Brierton Lodge Care Home is a home for Mum in the best sense of the word. She is safe, befriended and cared for both physically and mentally. It is also interesting to note how the staff spontaneously tell you how much they enjoy and are committed to their work.

I have experienced the most helpful, kindly and efficient carers and medical staff as I have ever experienced in my lifetime. They are all 101%. The accommodation meets every one of my requirements and once again, it is the perfect place for the purpose for which it was built.

All staff at the home show kindness, care and compassion in abundance. Not only did I witness the most wonderful care for my grandad but they were consistent with all residents (and visitors). The home is clean and comfortable and the staff know their residents and their needs very well. I hope the staff get the recognition they deserve for an amazing job.

All the staff are making my stay very pleasant and extremely comfortable. I have just the right amount of care and privacy I need. Food is very good and plentiful.

My mother's condition has improved greatly during her stay at Brierton Lodge, compared to her condition whilst in hospital. The professionalism and courtesy of the management and staff are exemplary. The care in Brierton Lodge was exceptional. I am a nurse and the standard was excellent. The carers were all wonderful. The place was so clean and tidy. The manager was always checking to see if we needed anything. The food was top quality. The best care home in Hartlepool.

My mam went into Brierton Lodge on 8th Sept. Sadly she passed away on the 18th. The care was amazing, all the staff from the manager down to the domestics were so friendly and caring towards mam. Nothing was any trouble. She had a beautiful room. I know in my heart she went peacefully in beautiful surroundings and 100% care.

I couldn't be more thankful, grateful for the care and support given to my nana in Brierton Lodge. The staff members, carers and nurses have exceeded expectations and I really couldn't thank then enough, on how helpful and caring they have been. This nursing home is very clean, accessible and comfortable. Overall, I am very happy with the staff and facilities, I would highly recommend Brierton Lodge to anyone. Thanks again.

My auntie has settled in lovely. This home has looked after her needs and has been very supportive to her and her family.

My mum was really struggling to settle in her previous care home, she ended up in a mental hospital, we just knew she would settle at Brierton Lodge after we explored the home. She has settled wonderfully and I know that is down to the staff and management. They have so much patience and are wonderful with the residents, nothing is too much trouble for the residents and their families. Thank you, I don't worry about her at all now.

There was a great feeling of relief when my father was admitted to Brierton Lodge. I had been to visit (impromptu) and staff took time to show me around and answer any questions. I have observed excellent care, compassion, professionalism, excellent liaison with other services when needed (111, GP etc.,) and I have been contacted appropriately, in a timely way when need to be informed about something. I would not hesitate to recommend Brierton Lodge highly.

Brierton Lodge is looking after all residents and took good care of my Dad. It's a very warm and loving atmosphere.

My father is receiving excellent care directed to his needs. I am confident that he is in a safe, caring environment.
