Warrior Park Care Home

My stepdad has moved into this care home and I would strongly recommend it. The management has been extremely caring and supportive. My stepdad is extremely well cared for, the staff are the kindest, most caring and supportive people. They have made a stressful experience manageable for us as a family and we are very grateful.

Since my wife came to Warrior Park we have experienced nothing but kindness and helpful advice in dealing with her problems. Both management and staff have gone out of their way to be helpful. Staff members are very professional at their jobs and also seem considerate to family members. The accommodation is excellent and the surroundings are attractive.

The care home suits my relative and supports all his needs. Always clean and staff are very welcoming. Keep me informed my brother's needs etc.

My aunt has lived in the home for the last three years and has been very well looked after and I can't fault her care. I want to thank the care home staff and the manager for all their hard work and dedication in ensuring my aunt and all the other people who live in the home, receive the best care possible and for protecting the home and the residents during the pandemic, ensuring the residents are safe and protected.

I found the room really big and very clean. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. I felt really safe and secure here and found that I could sleep better than I could at home. There is always someone to talk to. One thing is for sure, I could never feel down because everybody is so happy and that makes me feel alright because I suffer from depression.

The resident likes being here as she has company day and night as she gets very anxious and frightened. The food is good and if there's something she doesn't like, they offer an alternative. There are activities on and although she has always been a loner, she now likes mixing with others and is proud of anything she's made and tells her family when they ring up, which makes them feel at ease with their mam being here.

My mother is very happy in the home. She has improved in both her physical and mental health since moving to you and appears to have all her needs catered for. I have been very impressed with the level of communication with me about my mother's requirements and further that I am consulted on all decisions made or to be made for my mother, both in regard to day to day living arrangements and what she may or may not need. All the staff are very helpful, friendly and caring and go out of their way to do extra things for my mother, which to me seem above and beyond what I would have expected. The home always seems clean and bright. My mother's room is warm and cosy and every effort is made to make it feel like home for her. We would always recommend your home to anyone needing such care as it seems to me to be a safe, secure and caring environment for anyone in such need.

Sometimes we have to ring to find out what is going on with my mam, however, they do let us know as well.

Since my mother has been a resident at this nursing home, she has adapted well to her new home and I have been pleased with all of the staff and the care she has received.

The care, attention to detail and support given to my mother, have been first-class. The communication between myself, Mother, carers and the manager of the home has been faultless and most professional.

I found your food excellent and your staff 10 out of 10. The bed is very comfortable overall very good. The rooms do need updating.

Very happy with the care my mam receives, though like everywhere else, more staff would obviously be beneficial. Having said that, the staff that do look after my mam do it with care, affection and kindness. They also manage to throw in some humour and laughter during their very busy shifts - not easy sometimes. Whenever I have cause or need to ask for something for my mam the staff provide it as soon as is possible but they never let her down which is so reassuring for us - her family as she is in their care when we are not there. Great rapport between staff and residents.

I have been reading reviews, this website needs updating. There is no manager that stays long term, no activities coordinator. Apart from that staff are lovely but overworked which leaves me concerned about my mam.

Dad seems happy with the service, although he is irritated by the loud buzzer. There must be a more efficient client-centred approach to alerting staff to patients requiring attention. The loud buzzer is so intrusive and very jarring. The staff are friendly and the room is clean.
