Beaconsfield Court has been a safe haven for my mam. They have kept her safe during this horrible pandemic. Most of all they have kept her happy and content. The staff are outstanding. The communication with us as a family has been excellent. We have been able to visit mam in the visiting pod. We have
regular video calls. The management keeps us updated at all times. We can not praise the home enough. Amazing team.

Beaconsfield has been so welcoming to my mam, this has been a difficult year, and they have made the process as painless as possible. The communication is excellent; I speak to my mam daily. My mam is looked after so well, and the staff are so friendly.

Dad moved into the home a few weeks ago and despite our initial worries about care homes in general during these uncertain times, he is doing great and the home is great! He had to isolate to start with but we could talk to him on the phone or FaceTime with him anytime and the staff kept us up to date
with how he was doing too. We managed to do a window visit this week which was lovely. He has made himself right at home, making new friends with both the other residents and the staff team and he even took part in a Zoom exercise class this week (don't think he's ever done an exercise class in his life!). All initial worries are now gone. Can't thank the team at Beaconsfield Court enough for all they have done and are continuing to do.

Can't recommend Beaconsfield enough. Although my grandad was admitted during under the current lockdown restrictions and we can't visit him in person, we are kept well up to date by all the staff we speak too. He has settled in well and we can facetime with him any time we like which is great. The staff
have gone out of their way to make sure he is happy, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

My grandad has had a brief stay at this home, the staff were absolutely fantastic with him and with us as a very anxious family. They kept us up to date with everything. These last few months have been very worrying with the pandemic, the staff put us all at ease and gave fantastic care. We can not
thank them enough. Will definitely be recommending this home. Well done all!

Over these last few months, it has been a very worrying time for everyone. Especially when you have a loved one in a care home. I have got to say that Beaconsfield Court has been fantastic over this time. Constantly staying in contact with the family, letting us video call my grandad and doing window
visits, nothing has been a trouble for them. They have continued with the outstanding care they provide to each resident. I applaud every single staff member as they have been fantastic throughout all of this. As a family, we can not thank them enough for keeping our precious grandad safe and happy. We are eternally grateful to everyone. Massive well done to the manager and her team.

My grandad has been in this home for some time now. He says it's the best home he could have, everyone is so friendly and caring. There are many trips that he enjoys going on. The home is always so clean, tidy and nice smelling. I enjoy visiting and take my children with me as we always have fun visits.
Every staff member makes everyone feel so comfortable and happy during their visits. Grandad says it's the best food he has had, even putting on weight which is amazing for him. We could not have chosen a better home. Outstanding care at all times. I wish to thank every single staff member at the fantastic care that is given to those who live there but also to all the visitors.

My mother has been a resident at the Beaconsfield for over 3 years. Prior to admission Mother was very isolated, withdrawn and in poor health. Since admission Mother has improved immensely she is now socially active she loves the activities and her improvement in health is a real testament to the staff
and the care they provide. The home is always clean, friendly atmosphere and very welcoming. The food is outstanding and always very presentable.

My friend got invited into this home to spend Christmas day with them as she had no one, what an absolutely wonderful idea. The home does this every year so no one is alone. All the staff make everyone feel so welcome and spoil them. Everyone had a wonderful time. The home is beautifully clean, staff
are outstanding with their care. I can not recommend this home enough. Keep up the fantastic work you do. An absolute credit to our community.

The Beaconsfield Court Care Home looked after my mother for 5 1/2 years. During that time I can honestly say she received everything she needed. The staff treated her with great affection and dignity. The home is the nearest thing you could get to what you could call family. Everyone from the manager
to throughout the entire staff made you feel welcome and valued. A real care home.

My wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer in June 2019. After caring at home we took the decision to admit her to the Beaconsfield Court Care Home and I have to say the home is outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff especially the deputy manager whose knowledge is impeccable.
The care my wife receives is outstanding, the meals are 5 star and we as a family are always welcome to have lunch with my wife. I would recommend this home to anyone as we can sleep at night knowing my wife is looked after by brilliant staff who always keep us involved with her care. There is always something going on. Trips out, in house entertainment which the staff are always fully involved. I am so happy we made the decision for my wife to be cared for by such amazing people. Thank you.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.605)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.605) out of 10 for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.905 for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (76 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.905
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.7 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 32 registered maximum number of service users is 6.4, which has been reached with 7 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
