My dad always received the most outstanding love and care here. Lockdown made it so impossible for us to visit, yet the manager did everything possible to keep us up to date with how Dad was doing with video calls, photos and regular communication. We could not have been more grateful for the care, love and for all the staff who always went over and beyond and held Dad's hand in his final days/hours as I sadly couldn’t due to this virus! Hollie Hill is an amazing Home and is full of amazing staff who were so caring and kind to my beloved Dad. I would highly recommend this care home.
Thank you, Michelle, for your wonderful feedback about our home and kind words about our team. We are so sorry to hear about your Father, but pleased you felt he was treated with the care and compassion he deserved during his time in our home. If there is anything more we can do, please do not hesitate to reach out. Take care, we wish you all the best.
My mother was a resident for 5 months and was cared for at the highest level. She was treated with respect and dignity and the family could never find the words to express our gratitude to the manager and staff, whom always ensured my mother's every need was met.
Thank you, Julie, for letting us know how we are doing at Hollie Hill Care Home. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing. Have a wonderful day.
My sister-in-law was in here a couple of months as she had tumours and needed nursing care. We as a family can't fault the care and the politeness and cleanliness of the care home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and visitors are always made welcome. The rooms are warm, cosy and the furniture is all in excellent condition. The manager had everything in good order and the nurses were excellent with my sister-in-law making her laugh at every opportunity and we are really impressed. The carers were very friendly and again excellent with the patients, we would thoroughly recommend this care home for care and compassion that all staff give. Thank you all for your patience and compassion looking after her.
Thank you, Debra, we always appreciate individuals taking the time to give their feedback and we are very pleased to hear that your experience at Hollie Hill Care Home was so positive. The staff are very friendly. They treat my mother very well and the management has gone out of their way to accommodate us.
Thank you, Paul, for your feedback following your recent experience at our home. We are happy to learn it has been a positive one. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Have a wonderful day.
I had heard good reviews of this place in the days leading up to admission, and they were right.
The staff are excellent and the meals/ snacks provided are of a very high standard.
The new Activity Centre will be a boost to the residents as will the new sensory garden.
One suggestion could be that the activities agenda is stuck onto the residents' bathroom door at the start of each week as many don't see the notice board and may miss out on what is going on. It would be a shame for those who are able to attend to miss out on the day's events.
Thank you for your comments about your recent experience at Hollie Hill Care Home. Our residents’ wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care. Please reach out to Hollie Hill regarding your idea to better the home.
All the staff were fantastic so thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you.
I visited 5 care homes in the area, and from the minute I walked in, I knew that was the right place, so friendly, caring and compassionate. Nanna enjoyed activities, conversation and thoughtful consideration by the staff and residents.
If you are looking for this for your family member, do not hesitate.
Thank you so much Hollie Hill.

It has been such a relief to know how well she is being cared for and it has given us all peace of mind.
Can't thank you all enough.
Staff were very professional and caring because of their workload, always a smile to greet me as a visitor or to meet the family members. I think the home is very good.

I visit Hollie Hill regularly to take a service with some of the residents. Staff always seem to be caring and cheerful, very pleasant with the residents, who appear to be happy and content. I am always made to feel welcome. The home is clean and tidy.

I find this care home to be one of the best in the area. Nothing is any trouble to any of the carers. They are very friendly and always eager to help. Mum has settled in very well and gets along with all of the staff - always some sort of activities going on during the week for residents to join in. Would recommend this home to anyone.

My mother was placed on palliative care after a long battle and a stroke. She was only at Hollie Hill for seven weeks before she, unfortunately, passed away. During that 7 weeks, the staff have been amazing to my mother and the whole family. They couldn’t have done any more for any of us and treated my mam like she was part of their own family.
Every staff member in the home gave love, support and hugs when needed. Her care was second to none. Without them, we would have never managed this. They made a hard experience so much easier. There are no words to show our gratitude and we want to say a huge thank you to all involved in my mams care.

Hollie Hill Care Home is the best care home I've visited. The staff are very friendly and are most competent in what they do from cleaning, cooking, caring and nursing. In the 7 years I've been coming here, I've never once needed to complain about anything or anyone. Full marks all round!

My mother was cared for from 25/7/18 to 5/8/18. During that time the staff have been wonderful and so caring and considerate to her (and all of her family). She has been treated with dignity and respect and lots of humour which I feel is so important. Her last days with you were special and we appreciate that so much.
