My mam has been at St Margarent's since February of this year, and all of the staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable in her new home. The kindness and humour shown has helped my mam settle, and she loves the relationship she has now made with the incredible staff. I no longer need to worry about my mam when I'm not with her as I know she is well looked after and has people she can also have a laugh with.

The team at St Margaret's have been nothing short of amazing! They have helped us to move our mother seamlessly into care setting. The first contact to assess mum was very professional and took into consideration all her needs. The staff have been extremely welcoming, mum is well cared for in beautifully clean surroundings. I can't thank them all enough!

Since arriving at St. Margaret's, mum has settled incredibly well and classes some of the staff as friends. The building is immaculately clean and very welcoming - which is important as we visit a lot!

Dads only been here for 2 months, but he seems really happy and settled. The staff are very good and really friendly. They always make time to say hello to him. When he was home on his own he couldn't be motivated to do anything.

But he's starting to join in more here, he really enjoyed the VE day concert.

My aunt is settled very nicely in her room. The care staff have proved very caring and helpful, she is gradually getting used to the idea of it being her permanent home now. (She has only been have a few months). The food is fine and the care and attention very good. I have told her to ring her bell as soon as she needs the toilet because it takes a while for the staff to the able to respond. She has everything she needs and her daughter visits on a daily basis.

A wonderful care home, all staff are lovely. Food is homemade and is the highest of quality. My husband is in for respite for a long stay due to conversion at home for him. Would definitely hope that for future restpite we will be able to use this care home. If there is ever a health issue they are also quick to contact you.

Very good experience. My privacy and dignity in all at all times. The food is excellent and also the cleanliness of home is outstanding. All staff are friendly and make sure I'm ok and I have my buzzer. I'm a youngish female (52) but St Margarets Care Home make me feel valued by the manager to every other staff member. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

I have completed this review in consultation with my friend in room 3. I think it took my friend a couple of days to settle in after being in a hospice for 5 weeks. I think my friend gets a little lonely of course with the long days. He now knows the majority of staff and enjoys being on first name with all. Reception staff always welcoming when I enter buildings and nothing a trouble when asking for anything (customer service at it's best, well done) more recently my friend has had his meals in dining area, the ladies are excellent.

My mam was in St Margaret's between October 2023 and January 2024. The regular staff were professional to deal with. It did appear some bank staff were not the hardest working. Towards the end, my mam received attentive nursing care, particularly from one staff member in particular. There was some entertainment in the lounge and some activities appeared to be available. On the nursing floor, very few residents sat in the lounge during the day or evenings but some went to the dining room for meals. I never saw the general residential floor. At the weekends it could be a long wait to be let into the care home as admin staff were not around to respond to the buzzer.

We are very happy with Mam's care most of the time. We sometimes have small issues but they are always resolved. I think a concern we do have is when there are bank staff. We feel they have no training to deal with dementia residents. I was most upset to see one of them snoozing in the lounge. I think my glaring at him intensely woke him up. The regular staff are all amazing.

Thanks to all.
