My Dad came to St Margeret's care home from hospital after a fall due to his dementia. The staff are lovely. They have included my Mum in everything, welcoming her to stay and eat with my Dad, which I feel is very important. My Dad is treated with dignity and respect at all times. I would recommend
anyone considering a care home to look around.

Myself and my family hugely appreciate all the efforts the staff made to make Mams life at St Margaret's so enjoyable. In particular, the arrangement made to organise Mam's 100th celebration birthday on July 18th. The efforts made to make this occasion memorable were excellent. Clearly showing the staff
are exemplary in organizing, caring and arranging opportunities for residents to socialise at every opportunity. It's a joy to see all the elderly residents smiling. Mum loved every minute.

My Uncle was in poor health and condition when he was accepted into St Margaret's.
He had had numerous falls and was incontinent, also very unsteady on his feet.
Since being in this home he has improved greatly.
He has had a few falls and is monitored to prevent this from happening.
He is taken
to the toilet when necessary where previously he was unable to reach the toilet sufficiently quickly.
Staff also walk him up and down the corridor to improve strength in his legs.
I have nothing but grateful thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care he has had and is still getting.
The home itself is pleasant and airy and very comfortable.

I was always made welcome.
I was always kept informed of Mam's health.
I was given provision for a bed if required.
Mam was always kept clean.
Mam really enjoyed the good food.
The nursing staff always gave of their best even in difficult circumstances.
Any problems were dealt with quickly.
No
problems with money transactions.
Keeping an eye on clothes after being washed sometimes proved rather tricky.

Resident settled in well!

My father came to St Margaret's for palliative care. The staff were excellent and caring and treat my father with dignity. The care home is also a very pleasant place with a variety of facilities.

I have lived at this care home for nearly two years. I find it comfortable and homely. The staff are very helpful and show great respect. They go that extra mile. I would most definitely recommend this care home.

My father went to St Margaret's in mid-December 2017 for palliative care. From the moment he arrived, he was extremely well looked after, in terms of care, hygiene, food and the staff always interacted and chatted with him. The medical and nursing care at end of life was brilliant and I can only praise
the staff in the nursing wing. Thank you for the care and support you gave my father at the end of his life.

My mam spent only four weeks at St Margaret's in intermediate care before she passed away. During her stay, the staff were amazing, caring and were very helpful. Nothing was a bother to them, no matter what time of day.


The place was lovely. I can not thank the staff enough for taking care of my

My husband has only been here for two days and I am so impressed with the home. So clean, kind, caring, professional, well equipped and 5* friendly.


Food is so good compared to where my husband was before, it was lacking in all the above criteria.

I was a resident of St Margaret's Care Home for 11days for respite care.
Upon arrival, I was greeted warming by the manager and I found everywhere to be spotlessly clean.
All the staff were exceptional and I was treated with kindness, care and dignity at all times. Everything was done to make me
comfortable and feel at home.
The meals were excellent, varied and plentiful.
I would not hesitate to recommend St Margaret's Care Home to anyone.

Our mother/mother-in-law was in St Margaret's for "end of life" care. This was from the end of March until mid-September. She received very good care and nursing form the staff - her needs were met physically and emotionally, in so far as she was taken out to a garden centre for coffee and a scone.
She went to many of the concerts and activities - the Elvis impersonator being her favourite. In the final week and days of her life, she received excellent care, as did we, her family. St Margaret's staff were wonderful and we can't thank them enough.

My mother has been here for 5 weeks and the care is excellent. It has met her needs very well. The cleanliness of the home is very good. The food cannot be faulted at all. The residents are extremely well fed. The staff are really pleasant and helpful and cannot do enough for you.

Dad has been at St Margaret's Care Home since July 2013. He was very poorly when he arrived. With the kindness and excellent care of the staff, he made an excellent recovery. I really do think that we could not have found a better place for Dad to be and feel fortunate that there was a room vacant at
the time we needed it. We as a family have every confidence in St Margaret's Care Home in all aspects of care for those in need.

From my first day of admission, I was made to feel welcome, wanted and respected as a resident. I have received excellent care throughout my stay for rehabilitation both from the manager and physiotherapists.
Nothing was a trouble for the staff to assist me with physical and emotional problems and
their kindness and support have been very much appreciated.
My stay here at St Margaret's has afforded me the opportunity to experience the warm, loving care that the staff have given to each and every resident and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone requiring long or short term care for their families.

The care home has a welcoming and pleasant environment with good facilities and excellent service in respect of food and drink.
The staff's expertise and competence with their application of care make the home exceptional. The whole experience was made easier and pleasing for our mum and us as a family
by the kind, caring manager and excellent communication skills of the staff and management.
We feel that our mum was always treated with respect and dignity.

My father went to live at St Margaret's Care Home in June 2015. Right from the start, all the staff at every level worked hard to make him feel welcome so that he could regard St Margaret's as being his home. My father had an outgoing personality and the staff responded well to this sharing his moments
of humour. I have no doubt that the staff genuinely cared fro my father and walked the extra mile in their care of him, not least in the last couple of weeks of his life. I also feel that they cared for both my husband and I really appreciate the efforts both practical and emotional that were made to enable my father to finish his life at St Margaret's rather than in hospital and for me to be with him at the end.
