Willow Green

My dear mum went into Willow Green in December 2021 as she was unable to cope at home with her terminal illness. She was looked after well by the team at Willow Green, the staff were excellent. She passed away on the 4th of January whilst at the home. She was always treated with dignity and respect. Thank you for what you do and for making Mum's last few weeks as comfortable as possible.

The staff are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. My mum has dementia; delusions and hallucinations can be very difficult to handle. They are so good with her and listen to her and anticipate her needs. The home is clean and the food is very good.

I believe there is a staff shortage of staff but they all do their best under the circumstances, well done to each and all.

My 94-year-old mother was transferred to Willow Green from hospital after a bad fall as it was no longer possible for me to look after her at home. She was disorientated, confused and upset as she did not understand what was happening. Willow Green staff were brilliant, they made her feel welcome, she was showered and put in a bright airy room. I took in personal things from her bedroom at home, which she really appreciated My mother is now settled and happy and even banters with the staff. I cannot thank Willow Green staff enough for their kindness, patience and understanding, especially with regard to her dementia. I am still on a guilt trip but I know my mother is safe and being well looked after. Thank you so much!

We cannot express how happy we are (including my mother) we found this home from home and caring setting for her to stay. We are very happy to recommend this home to other people, as we feel we could not have found anywhere better.

My wife has really improved whilst being in Willow Green Care Home. Thank you.

Care for mental health non-existent, beds in the room changed every 2-3 weeks. When my husband passed, his things were packed in black bin bags. Clean, dirty clothes were with rubbish. We were also chasing missing things, no-one takes responsibility for things when gone wrong, data protection never adhered to, never included in activities. Do not go there.

Plenty of activities every day.

The care given by the staff is excellent, my husband is happy and thinks a lot about the carers. In a very emotional and difficult time, having Willow Green being as good as they are has made the process much more manageable and easier to accept.

Nice home, great staff, nice to know my dad is being well looked after. Thank you to all involved.

It has really given me great peace of mind to know that she's safe and happy.

I would recommend this home to many people who need to put loved ones here. As the home is excellent.

I arrived before Christmas and was looking forward to Christmas dinner as a family were invited. Each and every one of us enjoyed a very excellently made dinner.

The only complaint I have is that there is nothing that can be improved. The food is also brilliant, especially the Christmas dinner. It reminded me of my childhood. Thank you very much.

The staff are exceptional, caring for residents and their families. Keep up the great work you all do.

Everything is done with a smile. This creates a warm, welcoming and most of all, a happy atmosphere within the residential section of the care home.

The carers, nurses and management work very, very hard and are very, very good. The activities coordinator is extremely hard working and very very good at her job and has become a personal friend to me. All the staff here are absolutely fantastic and I am very very happy living here.
