My brother has settled well, and all his care needs are met very well. Due to vising restrictions, my views are based on conversations with him, and he is very happy.

No complaints at all. I think the staff do a great job, which is even more apparent during the Covid.

My daughter is badly disabled with MS and has been in South Quay Care Home for three years. In all that time, she has been cared for with love and respect. The nursing staff and care staff are second to nine. I can't praise them highly enough, especially how they have coped throughout the Covid pandemic.

It was good to be able to visit my daughter today. The coronavirus is making life difficult for everyone. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to me, were informative, and chatted when my daughter slept.

A wonderful care home and lovely caring staff, who treat my husband with care and dignity when we use it for respite. A care home is only as good as its staff and South Quays seems to keep its staff long term, which to me is a good sight of a happy working environment. Always grateful.

Having, previous to my retirement, managed residential care homes for 23years, I consider myself well qualified to assess the provision of care given at South Quay Care Home. I have already recommended this home to friends seeking placement for a loved one.

Mam has settled from day one, calls South Quay home which is fantastic for her and her family. When she goes out for a few hours she always asks to go home meaning South Quay, we could not be happier with her being here and must add all staff work to high standards.

My husband has been a resident since he has a severe stroke 6 years ago. He is paralysed on his right side and has lost the ability to appeal. Sadly, over the last year his mental capacity has deteriorated and he can be very difficult to deal with, the staff have a great understanding of these problems and deal with them wonderfully well. When I visit, which is on a regular basis, the staff are very kind to me.

My father has been resident at South Quay Care Home since October 2014. This care home has been instrumental in ensuring that he continues to live in a clean healthy environment which unfortunately due to his condition (dementia) he was unable to do at home. My father can be a difficult resident at times but the staff are sympathetic and understanding and manage his condition very well. He appears to enjoy the food provided which is plentiful. Overall I am very satisfied with the care provided and the environment.
