My dad has been a resident for six months. We have seen an improvement in his physical looks. The care team are lovely. He seems settled but doesn't know where he is due to his dementia.

Although activities are on offer my parents have chosen not to take part even though the staff have encouraged them to do so. Staff are very caring and attentive and all their needs are met. We are very impressed with the way our father's dietary needs are accommodated and our mother enjoys the varied menus on offer.

My mother was a resident in the Dementia Unit at Picton Court for almost two years. I and my family would like to thank all the staff for the kind and professional care that they gave my mother. The staff who looked after her care needs and also those behind the scenes were fantastic. We were always made to feel welcome when we came to visit, and the staff were genuinely kind and caring. Often, we had a good laugh with residents and staff during our visits. Sorry, it has taken a while to write this, but a big thank you to everyone at Picton Court.

I have nothing but praise for the staff and facility. From the care my uncle receives on a daily basis to the regular updates I receive relating to any health issues.

Our mum moved into Picton Court in November 2023. She is settling in well, has a beautiful room and always says how lovely it is. The staff and food are amazing.

My sister has been here for over five years and is well looked after. I'm very impressed by the staff training and telling me when she is not well or a bit sad. Very impressed as I cannot be there 24/7. I always know my sister will let the staff know if she needs or wants anything.

My mother has been in Picton Court Care Home for the last four years.
As a family, we are extremely pleased with the care she receives and earlier this year, my mother was seriously ill and it was due to the staff's care that she recovered so well.

My mother is very happy in the home and appreciates all the care she receives. I would always strongly recommend Picton Court Care Home.

Picton Court has provided my mum with a home, not just a care facility. The staff are professional and extremely caring. They treat the residents with respect and there are lots of smiles and laughter. There are plenty of activities to engage and entertain the residents. The menus are varied and have good choices. I would certainly recommend Picton Court.

18 months ago I chose Picton Court as a residential home from my mum and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She is very happy, safe and contented and so am I and the wider family. She feels at home and has made many friends both with the residents and staff. All the staff are brilliant and the home is lovely. I have come to know all the staff and they are all fantastic and they look after Mum so well. I regard all as friends of mine now. The activities the home puts on are amazing and I love seeing the social media pictures that are posted and in that way, all the family across the UK can see she is happy. I love the way the care home replicates and decorates the seasonal events and not just Christmas. The food is wonderful and she loves it all. Mum loves having her hair done and she always looks clean and immaculate in her clothes which are washed every day. Her room is lovely and is just right for her and I love to visit. I fully recommend Picton Court to anyone.

Throughout Mum's 19-month stay, she was well cared for, happy and content. Staff are always happy and helpful and as a relative always kept informed of any issues and any upcoming injections etc. The care home security was excellent and both Mum and the home is always clean. All staff from reception to cleaners, carers and nurses are friendly and treated Mum with respect and dignity. Especially at end of life. Treatment was amazing to both Mum and my family. Stayed 24/7 until her passing. Can't praise and thank the staff enough for their kindness and compassion at this awful time. Will never be able to thank the staff enough.

My mum has been a resident at Picton Court since August 2020. I highly recommend it as an excellent care home. My mum has received the very best of care and is treated with care and respect. The staff are amazing and I have come to know and trust them. If there have ever been any concerns with mum, I have been informed immediately. It hasn't been easy with mum being away from us during the pandemic, but Picton Court and the staff have strived to keep mum safe and make sure we keep in touch as much as possible. Before my mum came to Picton, I looked into many care homes and none of them come close to providing the same high standards. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff, my mum has come on leaps and bounds since being there. So thank you again Picton Court for looking after my precious mum.

Very caring staff. Always helpful and informative. Premises clean. Food is good, plenty of interaction with staff members and residents with quizzes and games. Cannot find fault with the application of Covid rules and regulations. Always feel safe when visiting Mum.

My 97-year-old Mum has been a resident at Picton Court for 17 months and I can highly recommend it as an excellent care home. My mum has received the very best of care and is spoken to with care and respect. The staff are amazing and I have come to know them and trust them. If there have been any concerns about mum, I have been informed immediately.

There is a feeling of a family-run care home and a good continuity of staff many of the staff have worked there for many years. It has been a difficult time due to the Covid pandemic and Picton Court has been passionate about keeping our loved ones safe.

Before my mum came to Picton, I visited a number of care homes and none of them come close to providing the same high standards. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff including the manager carers receptionists cleaners kitchen and laundry workers.
