Visiting the care home during the renovation, has been an interesting experience. Not knowing where the activities were going to be, made for some interesting times, from the lounge and the Dining room, made a change, and the staff managed very well under difficult situations to do their job! I congratulate them for all the hard work.
Outstanding care given, all staff very welcoming and accommodating. Food is outstanding, also cleanliness. Dad is very happy with all aspects of care home.
The staff at Aberpennar Court are always so welcoming and go out ig their way t make my father happy. They take time to have a little chat with my 98-year-old father. The events team organised a brilliant tea party for his birthday. Lots of cake ad a big spread for the eighteen guests. All delicious, especially popular were the homemade pasties! We were also able to make use of the piano for a sing-along. Thank you to the staff who genuinely care about the residents.
Aberpennar Court is a very welcoming place to walk into. All the staff are very friendly and pleasant and got time to talk to you and especially my cousin which means a lot to him.
You are always welcome to visit and the staff are caring, friendly and make you feel welcome. They offer the kindest possible care to their residents. There are always lots of themed activites and hobbies going on and we are always asked if we would like to join in. The staff in the craft room are great. My dad has settled in well, praising the food and looking forward to his next meal! I would definitely recommend this place.
I am very happy with all the carers that look after my mother. My mother loves them all. She can't get out of bed but when they got time they will talk to her and that means a lot to me.
Nice homely atmosphere. Mam seems very happy here. Mixing well with other clients. Banter with staff. Find staff very friendly & welcoming, no problems encountered.
I visit Aberpennar Court on a monthly basis to provide a service for the residents. I bring my little dog with me who the residents love to see. A few other ladies come from the church and we always find the residents so happy and well cared for. They tell us how much they love living there and have an amazing activity programme and such great food. I have witnessed the residents having the best care and support and being treated with dignity their rooms are beautifully decorated.
I have been coming here now for several weeks to visit and am always amazed at the whole atmosphere of the place. Loads of things going on to include residents, the wellness lady is amazing, really keeps the people involved which is not an easy job. I have visited several care homes with family members and think this is by far the best all-around.
The well-being coordinator has so much enthusiasm it's infectious! To see the smiles on everyone's faces is lovely to see. Whenever I visit I'm overwhelmed by all the staff's work, often under difficult circumstances. My aunt is in good hands.
Our friend has been in Aberpennar Court for 8 years. The staff, carers, and all personnel are the kindest I have seen in a care home. I think they all treat the residents as if they are their own family. Also, as visitors, they are all kind and helpful to us. Wonderful.
Happy living here. Enjoy doing crafts carers are marvellous.
Our friend settling enjoys food and gardening and quiz.
(Only problem door on entrance).
Thank you for the very kind review, we are sorry you are experiencing some difficulties with the front door, you are invited to come and discuss these with us so we can find a resolution to support you.
Recent changes to the activities programme are welcomed with weekend events being well received.
Everyone really strives to create a positive, warm, supportive environment.
The staff are wonderful, think they treat all residents as if they were their own family. They are all wonderful.
Very very happy.
The home is of a very good standard, the staff are professional and polite. When an individual enters the home you can be assured that their needs will be fully catered for.
Food is fabulous.
My experience is the best ever I came to the home not expected to live long and a year later I 100% bet that it was down to the nurses and staff absolutely amazing people one and all. I am even going to a flat because they made me a different person all down to this care home thank you all so much.
Lovely time singing carols and interacting with the lovely residents.
