I cannot thank everyone at Ty Gwynno enough for the updates when we could not visit and for the care also shown to us the family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to acknowledge the great work our team members do. I'm glad your nan is safe, well and happy.

Where do I start when it comes to reviewing Ty Gwynno and its wonderful staff! Through the last 12 months, the staff have gone above and beyond their duty to care for service users, their enthusiasm is boundless. They show love and care to all the service users, take great care of them, and continuously keeping their minds off the pandemic with fantastic imaginative entertainment. Now we have come to a wonderful time we can all start seeing our relatives again; they have made a real special effort to see that everything goes to plan in a safe and organised manner. She deserves special praise for that. I am so glad my mother is in the care of these brilliant staff at this wonderful care home. I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else!
What a lovely, heartfelt review. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. The team will be thrilled to read what a difference they make.
Very happy with the service that they are providing under very challenging circumstances. It is very hard not to see Mam face to face, but I know she is having the best care and always kept up to date on her health.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. These are such difficult times, but I hope as we move out of lockdown, you are able to spend precious time face to face with your Mam.

Staff are very understanding and have been only too happy to help/accommodate our requests.
I feel very happy with my dad's care and looking forward to visiting home in the near future.
What a lovely review. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how well things are going for your dad.
The home looked after my grandpa really well in extremely hard times when we couldn’t see him. They were always friendly on the phone and helpful. I am very grateful to them, and it helped to know that he passed away with people around him who cared.

I live in Dundee so have not been able to visit as per normal but I take great comfort in knowing that mam is in good hands and being properly looked after. It's also important to me to know how they support my dad who has had an equally difficult year with the limitations on his visits to see mam.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It has indeed been a tough year. I'm glad that the Ty Gwynno team have brought you some comfort knowing that they are supporting not only your mam but your dad as well.
A happy, calm and caring environment. There is not a bad word I can say about any member of staff at Ty Gwynno! They have all been amazing and I am very grateful for all their hard work. Thank you very much!

Throughout a most difficult and worrying year for us all, I can’t begin to imagine what Mam’s life would have been like if she was still living on her own and not at Ty Gwynno. Team Ty Gwynno are now Mam’s family, along with the lovely friends she has made since she moved there in March 2019. Whenever I ring Mam and whilst I’m still on the phone to her, she often relates my news with the other residents and has been known to put her best friend on the phone for a chat, this says how comfortable she is there. Ty Gwynno’s Facebook page allows us an insight into the wonderful activities that are laid on, and their daily advent calendar photos are just magical, I never thought I’d ever see 70-90-year-old elves! The staff have gone over and above in their care and dedication showing their utmost enthusiasm and professionalism whilst still also having to look after their own families. Thank you so much Ty Gwynno and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. You've summed up Ty Gwynno beautifully.

This team actually care and the conversations we have with my father-in-law are nothing but positive and supportive of their efforts - his needs are far too complex for home caring and yet Ty Gwynno takes everything in their stride, nothing is too much trouble. Like all families, we care about our loved ones in care and we are hypersensitive to any suffering. We selected this facility because of its staff and their approach to residents, probably one of the best decisions we could have made as a family.
They have kept my father-in-law safe and healthy in a very difficult time... of course, they are care home professionals and get paid to be... but this team goes above and beyond - regularly!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review. The team at Ty Gwynno will be thrilled to see what a difference they have made to your father-in-law's life and also the comfort and reassurance they have given you.

He is very well looked after in all aspects of what's been a difficult time for him adjusting to life in a care home when he's been so active all his life and mentally very sound. He has mentioned 2 carers who look after him so well while he's been there. Due to his lack of mobility, he likes to spend time in the lovely garden they have there and loves the food. I would highly recommend Ty Gwynno.
Many thanks for your wonderful review, I'm glad your father is doing so well. The gardens and views there are lovely so I can understand why he enjoys them so much.
My mam spent nearly two years in Ty Gwynno. Even though she died three years ago, I must say what a wonderful bunch of people work there and still do. I befriended a few while my mam was in there and am still friends now. This is my review, and I will always praise them up as they all work so hard...

It’s such a difficult and emotional time looking for nursing homes - I looked at so many before I settled on Ty Gwynno for Dad. From my first visit, I knew this was somewhere where he’d be well looked after and it’s been a year now and I haven’t changed my opinion! There’s always a WARM WELCOME at the home and prior to COVID we could visit whenever we wished (except mealtimes) and I never felt I was in the way, in fact, things just happen around you. There’s a strong teamwork ethic amongst the staff, everyone seems happy going about their tasks and you often hear laughter and singing and witness great interactions with the residents. Communication is great- I never feel fobbed off and if there are any issues they’ll let you know. There’s a large airy lounge and dining space and a lovely garden for everyone to enjoy. The entertainment and activities are great; always lots to do and Christmas is a blast! You certainly won’t go wrong choosing Ty Gwynno!
Wow! What a fantastic review, thank you. Ty Gwynno is everything you describe and I'm so pleased that your Dad and yourselves are happy with the decision you made. I too love following them on Facebook and seeing all their smiling faces.
I would like to thank all the staff for looking after my wife; you are doing a great job. Thank you.

The home and staff have been wonderful with mam and she is settling in well. They are also very kind and welcoming to dad when he visits. Dad is very happy with the care, as are my brothers. We are always kept up to date and feel welcome at all times.

Fantastic service and excellent care. We were very reassured throughout lockdown that Nan was being cared for to a high standard. Nan is always very happy and comfortable here. A big thank you to all of her staff that care for her.
