With a large, landscaped garden for residents to enjoy, a therapy dog named Archie, and various features within the home – including a social café, activities room, and traditional pub – Shire Hall is a place where residents thrive.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all the care staff at Shire Hall. Each and every one of the staff treated my grandmother like family and cared for her in a dignifying way right until the end. The number of activities the home provided and fun and laughter you shared
with my gran helped her through her worst days. We are extremely grateful for the care she received while living here and we will never forget you thank you so much.

My mum has only been at Shire Hall 8/9 weeks. Everyone is fabulous. It's so reassuring to know mum is constantly well looked after, well fed, warm.
I work in a supermarket and my customers all know how "over the moon" we are as a family to know mum is well taken care of.

Where can I start? Shire Hall is the most professional, yet friendly care home. My father moved into Shire Hall in February 2018 and all the staff to help my dad transfer were amazing and truly lovely. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. It really is just like one big happy family. All team members
are amazing and are approachable. The carers care with a relationship centred approach. Any problems relating to my dad are dealt with straight away and I'm notified. Shire Hall is just the best.

Since my father moved into Shire Hall, he has enjoyed more activities than he has done in years! The food is wonderful too and I can relax knowing that all the staff not only care but actively encourage my dad to enjoy his time. He has been on a picnic, attended a show at the Millennium Centre and gone
swimming - all in one month. I feel so much happier that he is looked after so well.

The whole process from initial contact to moving in has been handled with sensitivity, friendliness, efficiency and professionalism. All the staff at Shire Hall Care Home are friendly and caring and take time to talk to and reassure the residents. The nursing staff and carers take an interest in residents
and have made an effort to get to know my wife. They try to reduce her anxieties and are always available to give feedback on the day's events. The environment is comfortable, clean and relaxing. It is always a pleasant place to live.

I have been pleased with the level of care my Father has had since moving into the home a year ago. He has settled in well and all his care needs are taken care of. He often goes on outings with the activities team and is kept active as he has always been an active man.

My Mum is happy, safe and secure here. The staff are first class, everyone welcomes us as a family whenever we go in whatever the time. It's like one big happy family. We know the other residents and families and they know us. It really is like a bit happy family here, it's own little community. It's
