Lovely care given to my grandfather. Patience and kindness received from staff have been excellent. Great interactions. The entertainment that is put on for the residents is very uplifting, and it is great to see updates on social media.
Thank you for your lovely review. We really appreciate it .
I'm very happy with my sister's care. All the staff are very caring and look after everyone with compassion.
Thank you for your feedback and kind words. I will pass on to the care staff team.

The home is clean and welcoming. The staff are very pleasant, caring and happy. They show genuine interest in the residents. My gran loves her food at the home and loves her room. Very happy with the care of my gran at Ael-y-Bryn. The management is also available and approachable.
We really appreciate your feedback and kind words.
The care given in this home is second to none. All the staff are so caring and show so much love to everyone and nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass on your kind words to the rest of the team.
I'm so pleased that my mum is a resident of Ael-y-Bryn Care Home. I have very high standards of what care should be. I'm pleased to say that Ael-y-Bryn meet these. By what I can see it has a wonderful management team supported by an excellent care staff team. Staff always appear to go the extra mile. I would certainly recommend Ael-y-Bryn as a placement.
Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate your feedback and support.
They arrange activities. I thought my mother would never bother to take part, but how wrong was I?
My mother has settled and seems very happy. I take her out shopping, and she is happy to return.
Lovely care home due to the lovely, caring manager and care assistants.
Thank you for your kind words.
My nan is a resident and has had a lovely experience so far. Staff treat her with kindness and on her birthday, put up banners/balloons in her room and brought her a present, card and birthday cake with candles. She had a wonderful day and it is these personal touches that make all the difference - thank you!
Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated.
I am really pleased with the care my grandmother has received. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The staff were and are very patient, but most of all, love her unconditionally as I do.
Your feedback means a lot to us all at Ael-y-Bryn.
The carers are Ael-y-Bryn Care Home have always been accommodating to Mam's needs. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to show care and affection to not just Mam but to us as her daughters. We as a family have never experienced a situation like this before and there is never any rush when we've been asking questions about how Mam is doing or how she settled in when just joining the Ael-y-Bryn family. The manager and the team of carers are always available to talk about any problems that crop up (although these are infrequent.) and are happy to work with us to make any changes to Mam's care. We highly recommend the care of the staff of Ael-y-Bryn Care Home to anyone who needs a loved one to go into a home such as this.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. Our whole team will appreciate this.
The team have looked after my auntie over and above what we initially thought. We've had regular contact and updates to put our minds at ease as we were nervous leaving her in respite for the first time. They have treated her like an individual, taken care of her needs and given her the care and company that she deserves. They work so hard to look after their residents and my auntie has loved it, she has nothing but positive things to say about how the staff treated her like a queen lol. Thank you so much for not just being carers but actually caring and looking after our family, ensuring she is safe and happy. We can't thank you enough.
Many thanks for you kind words & feedback. We take great pride in our roles and being able to support residents/families of the local community in any way we can.
My mother has just spent the past 4 weeks at Ael-y-Bryn Care Home. She has been extremely happy there and can’t compliment the staff, the food and her surroundings enough. Every time I’ve been to visit her there, I’ve been so impressed in the way the staff treat the residents with kindness, gentleness and great respect. They also have a tremendous sense of humour which generates big smiles all around. Medication is given out as directed each day. The food looks and smells delicious and also varied each day with plenty of it too. It is also very clean and well-kept throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to place my mother there again if and when needed as I was able to have a break with no concerns of her well-being whatsoever. Her needs have been truly catered for. Thank you all so very much for taking such good care of my mother.
Thank you for your positive feedback and comments we all really appreciate it.
My husband has been a resident in this home for the last eight months. In all that time he has been treated with the greatest respect, kindness and he is a very contented man. I am happy because I know that he is being looked after so well, I could not ask for more.
Feedback like this is exactly why we love the job we do. Thank you for feedback and kind words.
Management is very helpful and efficient. The staff except for one, are very caring and pleasant.
Thank you for your kind and honest feedback. This minor issue has since been looked into and addressed.
I honestly couldn’t ask for a better care home for my mum to be in! The staff and the care that Mum gets is fantastic! It’s like one big happy family there, always lots of entertainment and all the family are included! It’s a great care home!
We really appreciate your feedback and lovely comments. I will pass on your words to the rest of our wonderful team.
My mother was spotless when she went in for a week's respite and within 5 days was a shadow of herself, her face was pale and drawn, she was smelling of urine because they were not changing her pads regularly or washing her, her legs had weeping blisters with a dirty bandage on, she had faeces on her dress and a bruise on her foot and hand.
I packed up my mother's belongings and took her home.
The staff are nasty and sharp with the service users and I would not treat my dogs the way they treat people. They are a disgrace and vulnerable people should not be in their care!
I am deeply sorry your mother had a bad experience at our care home; we acknowledge how upsetting this must be for you and your mother. Please accept our sincere apologies. Our staff aim to do their very best for every resident. In this case your mother was highly distressed at being away from...
My mother is very happy there and enjoys having company around her.
Any issues I have had (not many) have been dealt with promptly.
I would and have recommended Ael-Y-Bryn to anyone.
The home could do with modernising but as for the staff, I can't fault them.
Thank you so much for your feedback, positive review and comments they are much appreciated.
Ael-y-Bryn has worked through a very difficult period extremely well, excellent care provided and communication from staff. Social activities have been good throughout as far as possible, one point to highlight is that the staff are regular which obviously helps with both communication and as a constant to us and to the residents.
Thank you for your review & kind feedback. Regular and familiar faces are essential to building great relationships with our residents and families.
The overall level of care for my mum so far has been excellent, she appears happy which is a direct result of the quality of the staff and management. The care home is very accommodating with regard to family visits and celebrations.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. Our residents and families deserve the best which we always strive to provide at Ael-y-Bryn.

Hello all my name is Andrew- I am the very proud manager of Ael-y-bryn care home.
My journey in the care sector started in the year 2000 almost 25 years ago. It began with young adults, then moving on to more clinical settings and hospital work to now residential elderly care at Ael-y-bryn where I have been for almost 7 years.
I am passionate about my role, delivering high standards and excellent levels of care not only to my residents but also to their families and my fantastic staff team. My door is always open to chat and solve any problems or queries you may have.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and close friends. My favourite hobbies are cricket and football-most weekends you will find me somewhere across the country watching and supporting my teams.I love to travel to different parts of the world and experience different cultures on offer. My favourite holiday destination to date would have to be the east coast of Australia and Byron Bay.
