My father has been in Ael-y-Bryn for over a year now and is very much part of the Ael-y-Bryn family. I feel safe in the knowledge that the wonderful staff don't just look after him but genuinely care. I am always made to feel very welcome and encouraged to give my opinion on what's best for Dad. The environment is a bit tired (hence the good rather than excellent rating) but don't let that deceive you, it's the people, not the building that made me choose this place and I thank my lucky stars that I did!
We really appreciate your feedback and wonderful words about our care staff team. We count ourselves very lucky to be able to care and support residents and families. I look forward to updating you on some of our exciting plans to update certain areas of the home in the very near future.
My mother had a wonderful welcome and has settled in really well. The staff and management are excellent. We are kept well informed at all times. My mother appears happy and contented and we love to see the photos of her joining in the activities that the home provides.
Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot to the team.
My mum has been a resident since 2019. I will forever be grateful to my sister for finding Ael-y-Bryn. It is the most difficult decision to put your parents in a care home but Ael-y-Bryn have made things so much easier. My mum is so well cared for. The amount of activities the residents do is excellent and they want for nothing. The staff are like family friends and you can see it's a vocation for them, not just a job.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to the whole team.
My mam has been a resident at Ael-y-Bryn for 4 years and has been treated with so much love by the staff, it’s a home from home with yummy food and a great atmosphere for everyone there. So good I’d go there myself. Can’t give a better recommendation than that.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it is our pleasure!
My experience with Ael-y-Bryn Care Home has been fantastic. The staff are supportive, friendly and caring.
Staff really helpful. Very clean, my father loves his food. Staff fantastic towards my dad can't ask for anymore.
Whilst looking after my mum on her own and whilst being in hospital, on arriving here with emotions out of my control. The manager, staff everyone who is involved in this care home is amazing. So loving and caring.
Outstanding in all ways. It's a pleasure to walk through the door and it's a comfort to know my auntie is well looked after. Well done to all.
I cannot recommendation Ael Y Bryn enough. My grandfather is glowing after being at Ael Y Bryn for seven months. The staff there are like family to us now. He is treated with the utmost dignity. He tells me that the food is “amazing” and he’s a very fussy man when it comes to his food. The range of activities they offer is second to none, from the local schools visiting weekly to even having animals visit (including a small pony). I absolutely love seeing what they are getting up to from their posts on their social media page. The building and grounds are outstanding in appearance and cleanliness. All in all, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my grandfathers care.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The staff and managers work so hard to make a difference and it is lovely when their work is noticed and appreciated.
I visit my aunt up to six times a week and always find the atmosphere first-class. The staff are very caring and provide a great service. All aspects of the home are excellent. The meals, cleanliness and the security are first class. My aunt has been a resident for 21 months and is happy and contented. I would certainly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one can be cared for in a proficient, efficient and caring manner.
All staff lovely and caring and respectful. Lovely and clean. Happy - they have lots going on to entertain residents. Clean - smells nice. Organised.
Since my family member moved to Ael-y-Bryn six months ago, I've become increasingly convinced that it's the care staff and management that make this care home so successful. They are friendly, helpful, empathic and very caring, and, most importantly, really enjoy their jobs - and this also extends to the catering and maintenance staff. Caring is quite obviously a vocation for so many of them, and there are always plenty of staff on duty.
I’ve noticed there is an exceptionally low staff turnover, which means that all the carers know each resident really well, and can easily pick up when they are upset or feeling unwell. The managers are very approachable and sensitive to the pressures family members may have been under prior to a resident's arrival at the home. The home is bright, always smells fresh and is very clean. You won't find a lifeless, lethargic atmosphere here!
I am more than satisfied with the excellent care and facilities. I cannot fault anything. Staff are always exceptional to my mother and myself. I would highly recommend this care home it's superb.
Home from home. Happy, loving staff that Mum really enjoys being with. Food is wonderful. Mum blames the new chef for all her clothes becoming too tight!
After visiting several care homes, placing my father in Ael-y-Bryn has turned out to be a very good decision as he is well cared for there. The staff are committed to ensuring residents feel at home and there always appears to be something going on there to occupy them. All residents are encouraged to take part in the entertainment. The home is undergoing an upgrade at the moment, however, all of the social areas are clean and tidy. The staff go out of their way to ensure that visitors are always welcome and take time to deal with any questions. I have no qualms about my father being at Ael-Y-Bryn as I know he is in a safe environment where he will be treated with respect at all times.
Thank you for your kind comments they are much appreciated.
The rooms are neat and tidy and very clean.
There is an outdoor area, which is very handy (at the time I write, we are having a heat wave) I would recommend Ael-y-Bryn Care Home to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words.
The staff and environment are second to none and the management and staff make me feel included in all aspects of my friends care and activities.
The home is clean, the feel is excellent and you would have a hard job to find a more dedicated staff.
Thank you for your kind words.
Although the care home is going through refurbishment at the moment, it is kept immaculately clean. There is never a smell of urine as there is in many homes. The staff are fantastic, very patient and caring. I enjoyed seeing photographs of the carers taking the residents into the garden to enjoy the lovely surroundings and cool their feet in the paddling pool. The residents' smiles said it all. I can rest assured that my mother is in the best possible place and receives fantastic care. I don't have to worry about her, and if there is a problem, the staff contact me to keep me informed.
Thank you for your kind words.
We only live four doors away so I can come down for a few hours twice a day and have been made very welcome. I would recommend Ael-y-Bryn to anyone. Very good home. My husband looks better since he's been in here which is a great relief to me.
I feel that the manager and staff strive to achieve excellence in all departments and are very committed. We are always kept up to date and consulted on the care of my wife.
