Rachael is a qualified nurse and has specialised in care of neurological conditions and complex disorders since she qualified in 2006. Rachael begun her journey into management in this field in 2014.
I have been with Awel Y Mor for 6 years. I started working here as a carer and have since completed my professional training and qualified as an RGN. I have been fortunate to be able to continue my career progression and I am now proud to be a Head of the Unit.
Rebekah joined the home in 2017 as a RGN working her way quickly into the role of unit manager before progressing into the role of Deputy Manager in 2025. Rebekah has vast experience in managing those with brain injury and complex neurological disorders.
I provide physiotherapy treatment for residents at Awel-Y-Mor with the help of our therapy assistant, Marlene. We work with residents to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012 and gained my master's in 2017. I have worked previously in the NHS.
