I am satisfied with the care provided to my husband. I really enjoyed the summer party on the 1st of August. And look forward to more events going on in the home. I don't feel like the food is good enough, there is not enough variety and it seems quite bland, quite childish.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you are satisfied with the care provided and that you enjoyed our Summer Party. It is wonderful to know that the event was such a positive experience, and we look forward to welcoming you to many more activities and...
My husband is settling in well, and we are looking forward to him being able to get downstairs to the lounge and the garden. He is enjoying the food but finding the tea too milky to drink.
Thank you for your kind review. We're so pleased to hear that your husband is settling in well with us and enjoying the food, that's always lovely to know.
We're very much looking forward to supporting him in getting downstairs to the lounge and garden, where he can spend more time socialising...
We used April Court Care Home for respite for my husband for 3 wks in Dec/Jan 2026. We have been v.satisfied with the dedicated care provided by carers + nurses with total respect and dignity. Most of all, I was able to keep in touch in messaging and video calling my husband from 3000 miles away on regular basis. Thanks to manager Oliver. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

As a family, we are very happy with the care my father is receiving at April Court. We are always kept up to date with any health issues. The staff are very friendly and caring, but still efficient. My father has settled in very well and says he is very happy there, although he would rather be in his own home if that had been a possibility. I would not hesitate to recommend April Court.
Thank you so much for sharing your kind words and for taking the time to leave this thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your father has settled in well at April Court and that he feels happy and comfortable here. Our team works hard to provide compassionate, attentive care while...
The manager and the team at April Court were a great help and support during my fathers 2 year stay at the home. Myself and the family cannot fault the care and compassion my dad received in the final few weeks of his life.

The care home is lovely and the care staff are so lovely and the manager is so helpful and understanding. I am not used to being spoiled like this.

We truly appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
Excellent staff; caring and friendly. Quick to attend to the resident's needs, welcoming to visitors offering tea and a seat. My client's room is small for wheelchair & hoist and corridors/lifts narrow and awkward for large chair. Some decor needs touching up. But the important thing - the care is very good by lovely staff.
Thank you for your lovely comments about our caring team, we truly appreciate it. We are grateful for your honest feedback about the room size, accessibility, and decor, and will keep this in mind as we work to improve. Above all, we're glad the care we provide makes a positive difference.

My dad was in for a short time, but the care and support they gave him and all our family was amazing. The staff were so friendly and knew who we were and who was visiting, which might sound strange. But when dad had been in respite before, even after a week, no one knew us. April Court kept him clean and comfortable. I can't thank them enough. Anyone thinking of going to put parents or loved ones there, please do.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. We are so glad your dad and your family felt cared for and supported during his time at April Court. Knowing that our staff made you feel welcome and comfortable truly means the world to us. We really appreciate your positive feedback and wish you and your family all the best.
Only a short stay of one month but the staff were very friendly and helpful and did their best to care for my Aunt who could be very trying at times.

I visit my brother-in-law twice a week. The staff right through from cleaners to seniors are all very helpful and friendly. Always have time to answer any questions or queries I may have. All in all, I cannot praise the staff enough.

My blind friend stayed in April Court Care Home for 6 weeks receiving end-of-life care. The staff treated him in a kind and caring way ensuring he was nourished and clean. His guide dog was allowed to visit. The call button was always placed to hand but it was noticeable that the constant ringing of the button did not appear to be cancelled by a carer answering a call, this constant noise was a source of irritation to both my friend and visitors. Room cleaning could be improved by a daily mop of the floor with a clean mop! I am grateful that Aril Court staff were there to help, their cheerful disposition made up for sometimes the lack of English, especially noticed when imparting very sad news over the telephone.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful review. We're truly touched to hear about your friend's experience at April Court Care Home and are so glad that our staff could provide kind and caring support during such a sensitive time. It's wonderful to know that his guide dog was able to visit and that our team worked to ensure he was comfortable, nourished, and well cared for.
My mother just became a resident in April Court Care Home and the staff have been very friendly and professional. Today they are having a summer festival for residents and family, which is a special occasion and full if memories.

Staff were very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble to address. Mum had a very comfortable stay.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to know you're happy with the care that your mum has received. Our team strives to maintain a high level of care for our residents.
What an amazing job the management and carers did to provide their residents and their families with a very enjoyable summer party. The singing was fabulous also. In the short time my mum has been in April Court she has really settled down which makes it much easier for the family. The carers are very friendly and make you feel welcome and the management team. If anyone were to ask me about a care home for a loved one I would definitely recommend April Court.

This has been my first experience in respite. It has been much better than I expected due to the lovely, kind and helpful staff. The staff are very good workers but need a lot more helpers, as the patients are very demanding. The room I had was quite nice but needs updating. Lovely garden area. On the whole a very interesting experience. There is definitely need for more staff day and night.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're delighted to hear that your first respite stay exceeded your expectations and that our team made such a positive impact on your visit and the care you received. We're incredibly proud of our team and the dedication they bring to...
