My Dad has loved every minute of the seven months he has spent at April Court. He is being looked after well, and my sister and I, who visit regularly, have been highly impressed by the care and attention given to his every need by the staff.


I always feel welcome at April Court when I visit and

the management team always express an interest in my Dad's welfare when I speak to them. The care workers and nurses are also very caring and responsive to my Dad's needs and to any queries I have.


I would like to especially praise the laundry and kitchen staff, it would be so easy for people in these roles to focus on their core duties, but in both cases the staff at April Court show a real care for the residents and their needs. The laundry lady is always jolly and full of local stories, which as my Dad was born only a few streets away, are always welcome. The kitchen staff are extremely helpful, coping with my Dad's love of a local Ice Cream by taking and storing it when I deliver it. Thanks

I have always found the staff and management at this home most helpful, my husband is always clean and well cared for. The food is excellent. I sometimes eat here myself and I was a chef in my working life, so I think that is praise enough. The care here is excellent. I can't praise them enough. If
I do have a problem it is dealt with immediately.

I have been here for six months and I think that April Court is first class. The staff care for my every need and look after me so well. I was nervous about leaving my own home but coming here has been the best decision I have made. Many thanks to all the staff.

My husband came here after 10 weeks in hospital. I find that he is having very good care here. It is very clean and the food is good, although he cannot eat very well and he cannot eat very well and has to have it blended. His room is a good size, nice and bright and comfortable. The staff are very
friendly and helpful doing everything they can for him.

My husband has been in April Court Care Home since December 2013. He has had the best of care from all the staff. Medication when needed. He is always clean and shaven. When I go to visit he is made comfortable in his chair every day.
