The staff at Cherry Tree have done in hours what his previous care home in Salisbury could or would not do, get him in a chair, a wheelchair, shower him and generally make his life exceptional. He was in a "Gold Plated Prison" before which was dirty. Well done Cherry Tree fantastic home and care.

The atmosphere when you enter the home is immediately friendly and welcoming. The staff and management are always helpful, cheerful and encouraging. Any problems are dealt with discreetly, promptly and with utmost care. My mother, now 96, had a stroke and mini TIAs in the past and has become immobile. Since being at this home her speech and conversation has improved immensely and is mentally more alert. She is happily settled and has even put on some weight. So pleased with her progress and care she receives.

A family member or friend visits my mother every day in Cherry Tree. We are made most welcome whatever time we turn up. Care is taken in choosing her clothes in the morning and she is dressed in coordinating items even down to the necklaces. We are encouraged to attend any entertainment with the residents. The medical care is good and I am always kept informed of any changes. Food is very important for the residents and it is exemplary. Activities are strongly encouraged. Overall the standard of this care home is managed with a fun, friendly hand and I feel able to talk to anyone about anything.

Nothing is too much trouble. Kind, caring and compassionate. Meet individual needs and requests. Wonderful food and always plenty to drink. Activities and entertainment meet age group suitability. Day trips for residents are really appreciated. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Families, friends and visitors are welcomed any time and are listened to if they notice or comment on something. Rooms are due to be updated so that's good news. Well done.

Mum has been a resident for many years. Throughout the time she has lived at Cherry Tree, all the staff have been excellent in the care they have given her. The staff are a second family to me now. The food is excellent. It is a relief to know that if I can not visit, Mum will be looked after well. Any concerns can easily be talked over with any of the staff. The staff keep me well informed regarding mum's welfare and health. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cherry Tree to anyone.

My mum moved into Cherry Tree Care Home in February on leaving hospital, having had a few falls. She had lived on her own and was until a couple of years ago very active and independent. It gives me so much peace of mind to know that she's so well cared for and safe. The manageress has been extremely helpful and reassuring. The staff there are friendly, working hard to make life easier and pleasant for residents and family.

A truly exceptional care home in all respects. We could not have asked for a better environment for our cousin in her final months. Kind caring staff and well run in all respects. On our visits from Devon, we were treated in a very friendly and well-informed way. Far better than other care homes we have had experience of. A big well done to the management and staff.

A well-run home with static staff. Very friendly and always a warm welcome to relatives and visitors. Fresh, clean smell with plenty of floral displays inside and out.

This home has recently undergone refurbishment and new reception area.

Lovely garden with seating, tables and parasols.

I visit regularly (5-6 times per week).

As you walk into the building, the reception area is very small but it immediately portrays a positive impression on its cleanliness, standard of decoration and maintenance.

All the staff are well presented, happy and always greet you with a smile and a hello.

People are treated well and given the care and attention no matter how demanding their requirements.

My wife and I have looked at many care homes in our location and Cherry Tree stands out in many ways in comparison.

Following a stay in hospital my mother had to give up her own home as she needed ongoing care. She was welcomed to Cherry Tree by warm, caring staff who worked hard to achieve an early transition, identifying her special interests and providing the opportunity to follow her previous hobbies.
We have all felt fully supported and been kept completely informed of all aspects of my mother's welfare.

The cheerful atmosphere every time we visit Cherry Tree has brought us through this difficult time and led to my mother now being truly settled in her new home.

The care home is well maintained, clean, fresh, rooms and furniture kept clean. Manager and staff are excellent. Staff are easy to talk to, very helpful and always smiling and making the residents laugh.

The nurses are on top of their job and very helpful in all matters. The gardens are well kept and looked after by the whole staff team. I would recommend this care home to anybody, it's like a five-star hotel.

We chose Cherry Tree Care Home for mum as it had good reports and was recommended by people who had family there. It was also not far from our home and wanted mum to visit us. She was only at Cherry Tree for a short while, initially, she improved as she was happy there and settled in well, we were able to bring her to visit us and be with family. The month prior to her death she became unwell but had been cared for and looked after well and the staff were with her when she passed away peacefully. We couldn't have wished for a better place for her to end her days. Mum told everyone how happy she was.

Once a month I, with the rest of our group from the Baptist Church spend a few hours with the staff and residents of Cherry Tree. We are always greeted with a lot of warm and friendship by staff and residents we have got to know, and we have a great rappor with everyone. With our Pastor and others from church we have a most enjoyable few hours together.

I am proud to be the General Manager at Cherry Tree, where we are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and person-centred home for every resident. With over 10 years of experience in the care sector, I am passionate about promoting dignity, compassion, and the highest standards of care.

My journey in social care began with a desire to support older adults and ensure that everyone feels valued, respected, and truly at home. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to improving the quality of life for those we support and creating environments where residents can thrive.

Together with our dedicated team, I work to ensure that every resident receives personalised support tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and wishes. We focus on meaningful engagement, maintaining independence, and building strong relationships with residents and their families.

I believe that excellent care is about more than meeting needs—it is about creating a warm and supportive community where people feel safe, happy, and empowered to live life to the fullest. It is a privilege to lead the team at Cherry Tree and to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents every day.
