Very happy with all care and support, being far away and only being able to come up monthly, it helps to know that she is very happy and settled. Thank you so much.

My gran loves living here. The staff are lovely and so is the housing. Initially, she didn't want to live in care but now she wishes she could have lived here years before.

This is the nicest care home I have ever seen and she is so comfortable here. Thank you Annfield House Care Home.

My mother has been a resident for three months and before that, she spent 5 months
in re-hab before that at home so I do not have a lot to compare with. Annfield House Care Home has a good reputation I discovered when researching care and I have found it lives up to this. There always looks to be staff available and I have always found them friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean and bright and mum says the food is good. At Christmas, I ate with mum and it was very good.

My mum moved to this home after living with me for 13 and a half years. I was devastated by this but was not coping due to her dementia.
I can honestly say this was the best move ever after looking at approximately 13 homes we found Annfield.
The staff from domestics to the manager are friendly, approachable and have the best interests of the residents.
The home is warm, welcoming and spotless.
The staff are the best, they go the extra mile.

I can only praise them and thank them for their continued support.

When I could no longer care for my husband at home, he was assessed as requiring nursing care. I visited a number of care homes and was particularly impressed with Annfield and very pleased that a place became available. My husband became a resident on 28/7/17.

The manager, nursing staff, care staff, cleaning and catering staff all treat my husband with dignity and respect. Staff take a keen interest in every aspect of his welfare and encourage activities which he can enjoy. Staff are always willing to take the time to speak to me and other family and friends. There is a very caring culture and the staff all seem to enjoy their work.

My mother was, unfortunately, only in Annfield House for a few weeks prior to her passing. In those short few weeks, however, the care she received was exemplary. This standard of care continued right through her passing. The managaress lent both my mother and I the most wonderful compassion and care. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Those last few weeks were extremely difficult made much less so by the staff.

Mum has dementia and came to Annfield House on the 29th May, that first day she was not happy at all. Now just over 2 weeks later she has settled well is enjoying the food and taking part in many activities and mixing with others. Thanks to the staff who are caring and friendly, always on the go but always with kind words and encouragement for residents as well as visiting relatives.

The care at Annfield House is excellent. The staff are all very pleasant and very kind and thoughtful to residents. The home is spotlessly clean and always smells very fresh. The menus are excellent and my mother constantly praises the food. The table linen, cutlery and crockery are of a high standard with fresh flowers on the table which is of great importance to my mother. The laundry of residents clothes is done to a high standard which is also important.

My daughter and I visited several care homes in the district before we made our decision. We chose Annfield House Care Home as we were impressed with the friendly staff and the homely clean surroundings. It proved to be the perfect choice as my husband is well looked after by well-trained and friendly staff. The varied menu each day means he has put on weight and he is eating much better. He was poorly when he arrived; we do not worry about him now.

My mother-in-law came to Annfield in November 2015, when her physical frailty made it impossible for her to be safe at home. I researched all 8 homes able to cater for her needs in a 10-mile radius of Stirling. I reviewed numerous care inspectorate reports; checked financial stability; telephoned every manager; visited every home.

Annfield stood out. From the first phone call, the manager and her staff stood head and shoulders above all others. The manager made suggestions in that first call which helped me better understand the processes around social care, enabling me to take better-informed decisions. I have come to appreciate that this level of care, warmth and integrity is central to the ethos at Annfield. Without exception, I have found it in each staff member. We live 400 miles away, so this level of trust really matters. Annfield is very clean, great food, with plenty of activities, and a real sense of community. My mother-in-law has felt truly loved and cared for.

I lost my wonderful Mother to the cruelties of dementia recently but she fought an extremely brave battle at Annfield House Care Home thanks to the amazing support, kindness and dignity shown from all the staff and management. My Mum was understood and loved and the staff showed incredible professionalism and knowledge of her illness and could put solutions into place exactly when they were needed. I am grateful to Annfield and for all the support my family and I have received throughout this awful time. I have certainly met some wonderful people here and made some very good friends.

My mothers stay at Annfield House was short, August to November 2016. During this time she settled in well, enjoying the company, food and entertainment.
My mother died in November 2016 and in the 3 weeks leading up to her death, the nurses and carers could not have done enough for her.
As a team they showed true dedication, tenderness and warmth which was of great comfort to my sister and I. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Our only criticism would be that the manager never acknowledged our presence or my mother's death.

Overall, my sister and can only describe the care my mother received as excellent.

My mother suffered from Dementia and she was cared for very well. All the staff had a clear way of dealing with these type of people.

I can only say that my mother was so well looked after and everyone enjoyed her company. She would have some moments where she would be verbally and physically abusive but the staff were very capable of dealing with this. I cannot thank them all enough. I could never have dealt with her at home. With all this wonderful care she lived to 93.
