Myself and my wife have visited the home to see our friend. Since our first visit we have seen our friend being brilliantly looked after by the staff who ALL do a tremendous job. Whenever we visit the staff seem to be always doing something with all the residents. They get everyone involved, and that includes me, whether it be quiz, dancing to the music, great fun and you can see by the faces they all enjoy it.

May I add that the cleanliness of the home is 1st class.

Laurel's Lodge is staff by very committed and caring staff. They are very good natured, seem unflappable, and are very skillful at supporting their residents, many of whom have dementia. The relationships between the staff seem very good and the management team join in with activities for the residents (e.g chair Zumba). Our friend was recently admitted to the home and every effort has been made to consider her emotional and health needs and to facilitate her settling in. We are very happy we have chosen Laurel's Lodge.

My Mum has now been residing at Laurels for 6 months. During this time I have been impressed at the overall care she has been given. There is a warm and homely feel as soon as you enter and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. I also like how responsive the staff are if I have any concerns about my Mum's wellbeing and the senior staff are approachable and visible. My Mum enjoys the food options and has benefited from the range of activities organised both within and outwith Laurels. She is treated with respect and dignity and supported to make choices about her day to day living. I would not hesitate to recommend Laurels Lodge to anyone considering it.

We cannot thank everyone at Laurels Lodge enough for the incredible care and support they have given our mother-in-law.
Before moving to Laurels Lodge, she was living at home with dementia and sadly had very little quality of life. It was heartbreaking to watch her become isolated and unable to enjoy the things she once did. Since becoming a resident, the transformation has been amazing. She is now thriving, taking part in a wide range of activities, enjoying the company of others, and smiling again. Seeing her so happy and engaged has meant everything to our family.
The care, kindness, patience, and compassion shown by every member of staff are exceptional. They treat every resident with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing she is in such safe and caring hands.

A special thank you goes to Sheila, the manager, whose dedication, leadership, and genuine compassion shine through in everything she does.

Laurels have and continue to provide excellent care to my grandma and my late grandad. Up until the end of my grandad's life the staff were all lovely and supportive. They always have activities and outings happening, visiting the home is a nice experience, staff are friendly and they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The gardens are beautiful to go out and sit in on a nice day. The home always seems clean and the residents are well cared for. I would definitely recommend Laurels to anyone looking for residential care in Aberdeen.

The management team and all their staff at Laurels Lodge are so dedicated, approachable and their care is second to none. The home and the staff are very welcoming and friendly and it's kept spotlessly clean and smells lovely. There is a varied menu offering choices and plenty snacks too. Also there is an excellent activities program everyday with as many residents, staff and relatives as possible taking part. My parents are both residents at Laurels Lodge and I don't think we could have found a better care home for them.
The home is incredibly well run and the staff seem genuinely happy at their work and this is reflected in the care given to the residents. There is a friendly, warm and homely feel in Laurels any time I've visited and the staff are all very kind and caring. My parents are always clean and well dressed and they comment regularly on how they have enjoyed their meals.
The home is spotlessly clean at all times and great effort is put into organising a wide range of varied and imaginative activities with everyone taking part. When entertainers visit it's wonderful to see the staff enthusiastically joining in, singing and dancing with the residents.

I would highly recommend Laurels to anyone looking for a safe, caring and friendly nursing home.

My father was a resident at Laurels Lodge until he passed away recently. He was only at Laurels for just over two years but during that relatively short time he received nothing but the best of care from the staff.
It was apparent from the start that we had made the best choice as far as care homes were concerned. It is fair to say that Dad wasn't too keen to stay in a care home at first but he soon settled in which was helped by the fact that he was always treated with dignity and respect.

The activities available are varied, Dad especially enjoyed the quizzes as they no doubt kept his mind active. He participated in a few trips out from Laurels as well. His room like the rest of the building was always spotlessly clean. The management and staff always kept me updated, more so when Dad's health started to deteriorate. Living away meant that I was not able to visit Dad all the time but whenever I or family members did we were always made to feel so welcome.

My father spent 10 wonderful years at Laurels Lodge Care Home, and I cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care he received. From day one, it was clear that he was treated like part of the family. The carers were genuinely dedicated, offering him compassion, respect, and attention to his every need. Their warmth and kindness made him feel comfortable and valued, and I never once doubted that he was in the best possible hands. The environment was always clean and welcoming, and the management was always available and supportive. Laurels Lodge truly became a second home for my father, and I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care he received during his time there. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a caring, family-oriented environment for their loved ones.
