Before moving to Laurels Lodge, she was living at home with dementia and sadly had very little quality of life. It was heartbreaking to watch her become isolated and unable to enjoy the things she once did. Since becoming a resident, the transformation has been amazing. She is now thriving, taking part in a wide range of activities, enjoying the company of others, and smiling again. Seeing her so happy and engaged has meant everything to our family.
The care, kindness, patience, and compassion shown by every member of staff are exceptional. They treat every resident with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing she is in such safe and caring hands.
A special thank you goes to Sheila, the manager, whose dedication, leadership, and genuine compassion shine through in everything she does.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, we are delighted to know that you and your family are very happy and satisfied with the care and support provided to your mother-in-law. Providing compassionate care, warm and engaging environment to all our residents is our utmost priority. Myself and the entire Laurels Team appreciates your lovely feedback, it means a lot to us all.
Laurels have and continue to provide excellent care to my grandma and my late grandad. Up until the end of my grandad's life the staff were all lovely and supportive. They always have activities and outings happening, visiting the home is a nice experience, staff are friendly and they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The gardens are beautiful to go out and sit in on a nice day. The home always seems clean and the residents are well cared for. I would definitely recommend Laurels to anyone looking for residential care in Aberdeen.

The management team and all their staff at Laurels Lodge are so dedicated, approachable and their care is second to none. The home and the staff are very welcoming and friendly and it's kept spotlessly clean and smells lovely. There is a varied menu offering choices and plenty snacks too. Also there is an excellent activities program everyday with as many residents, staff and relatives as possible taking part. We are very happy with the care and support my mum receives at Laurels Lodge, we couldn't wish for a better care home for her. Thank you.

I was delighted to get a place at Laurels for my Mum as I had heard nothing but positive feedback about the care they offer. From the lead up to admission and through the moving in process all the staff were excellent and really helped to make my Mum's transition as smooth as possible. All the staff I have encountered have gone out of their way to ensure that my Mum's needs are met and that she is treated with dignity, respect and kindness. The staff have been very reassuring and helpful if we have had any queries. The consistent staff group, under the strong leadership of Sheila, promote a warm and welcoming environment and the home is clean and the care is person centred. They offer a range of stimulating daily activities for the residents which has been vital for my Mum's wellbeing. The positive change in her demeanour in such a short space of time has been amazing and as a family we are incredibly grateful to the staff for all they have done so far to bring back my Mum's sparkle.

The home is incredibly well run and the staff seem genuinely happy at their work and this is reflected in the care given to the residents. There is a friendly, warm and homely feel in Laurels any time I've visited and the staff are all very kind and caring. My parents are always clean and well dressed and they comment regularly on how they have enjoyed their meals.
The home is spotlessly clean at all times and great effort is put into organising a wide range of varied and imaginative activities with everyone taking part. When entertainers visit it's wonderful to see the staff enthusiastically joining in, singing and dancing with the residents.
I would highly recommend Laurels to anyone looking for a safe, caring and friendly nursing home.
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. The entire team at Laurels Lodge are extremely grateful for the trust you and your family have given us in providing care for your Mum and Dad who both resides here. All our residents' wellbeing is our priority and the Laurels Lodge Team will...
It was apparent from the start that we had made the best choice as far as care homes were concerned. It is fair to say that Dad wasn't too keen to stay in a care home at first but he soon settled in which was helped by the fact that he was always treated with dignity and respect.
The activities available are varied, Dad especially enjoyed the quizzes as they no doubt kept his mind active. He participated in a few trips out from Laurels as well. His room like the rest of the building was always spotlessly clean. The management and staff always kept me updated, more so when Dad's health started to deteriorate. Living away meant that I was not able to visit Dad all the time but whenever I or family members did we were always made to feel so welcome.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience as a relative and we are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to care for your Dad who flourished during his stay at Laurels Lodge Care Home. Laurels Lodge have a very kind and dedicated team who take great pride in the care of our residents ensuring that they are well supported and treated with dignity and respect.
My father spent 10 wonderful years at Laurels Lodge Care Home, and I cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care he received. From day one, it was clear that he was treated like part of the family. The carers were genuinely dedicated, offering him compassion, respect, and attention to his every need. Their warmth and kindness made him feel comfortable and valued, and I never once doubted that he was in the best possible hands. The environment was always clean and welcoming, and the management was always available and supportive. Laurels Lodge truly became a second home for my father, and I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care he received during his time there. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a caring, family-oriented environment for their loved ones.
Thank you so much for taking the time in providing your valuable feedback. Our residents' wellbeing is our utmost priority and the Laurels Lodge Team will continue to work hard to promote positive experience for our residents in the care home.
My Dad has been at Laurels for nearly a year now and we couldn't ask for a better care home for him. The staff are caring and supportive and always puts the needs of the residents first. They have been very quick to pick up on any medical issues too. It's reassuring when we leave from a visit that we know he's being well looked after.

Our dedicated team here at Laurels are always working hard to improve our residents' well-being and your very positive feedback will inspire the staff team. Thank you so much.
Only down fall is the lack of parking. The gardens are ok. All staff are welcoming and polite. Food is good. We held a small family party for his birthday and they provided sandwiches etc at no cost.

Everyone who works at the home has been so kind, always smiling and happy to see you.
We were very nervous about making the move for our mum but they filled us with such confidence. While viewing the home for my mum I was blown away by the respect and compassion they had for the residents, which made me feel very comfortable that my mum was in a safe place.
I love how much activities are planned for the residents and very much love seeing all the updates on their social platforms. You can see the joy from not only the people but the staff working!
My Mum is still settling, the move has obviously been very confusing however she always tells us that the staff are very friendly and the food is good!

My first thoughts of Laurels Lodge was it had a very cosy, homely and happy atmosphere. Mum was always shown kindness and care and was treated with respect and dignity. She always had a big smile for the staff which says a lot.
We were always well informed of any concerns they had no matter how small which we very much appreciated and it was such a comfort to us knowing mum was in a place with staff who really cared.
I would like to thank management and staff for taking such good care of our beautiful mum. You have one of hardest jobs and you do it with such care and compassion.
I would have no hesitation and would highly recommend Laurels Lodge for anyone looking for the best care for their loved ones.

The whole staff at Laurel's treat their residents as part of their family. The time and patience they have for each resident is unbelievable. "Nothing too much for them".
As for the social activities well these are endless and there is something to suit everyone. It's so nice to see them all smiling and participating, we really struggled at home to keep Mum occupied and stimulated.
We will never be able to thank the staff at Laurel's for all their care/love/understanding/patience towards Mum and the family as a whole. Cannot recommend Laurel's enough.

We couldn't rate Laurels Lodge high enough. The home was clean and didn't smell. The decor was okay. The staff were excellent with my Father and with the family - always happy to help, give advice, and take phone calls. They were always quick to pick up any medical issues.
