Redmill Care Home

On my first visit to Redmill Care it reassured me and my wife that this was a good place for my mum to be looked after. All the staff have been very helpful and kind. Thank you for looking after my mum, much appreciated.

My husband and I feel our Mum receives excellent care all her needs are being met. The staff always phone to inform us of any changes in her general health and wellbeing. Her room is always clean and tidy, her appearance is immaculate. We are very grateful to all the staff who look after our Mum.

The most cheery and pleasant staff very caring. Plenty of activities for patients.

My aunt has been in the home for almost a year now and out family have nothing but praise for everyone who works there. Staff are very attentive + sees to her every needs. Place is spotlessly clean, it's a joy to visit as everyone is so friendly.

As a family we were naturally concerned about mum going into care but from our first visit we were made so welcome and at ease. Mum has settled in so well and made friends with staff and fellow patients. Mum us really happy now and it is very reassuring to see her like this. The home is continually improving and the cleanliness has improved a lot in the last few months. All in all, a good experience for both myself and mum.

The staff at Redmill are excellent and they have lots of activities to keep the residents occupied and stimulated. There has been a great improvement its good to know my sister is being looked after well.

Very caring staff. Helpful and supportive. Someone is always on hand if there is a question. Visitors are made welcome always. Staff always smile and say hello. Staff seem to know mum well and in a short space of time after admission. Mum is comfortable and cared for 24hrs/day

My son was in hospital awaiting admission to a nursing home, I received word that an assessor from Redmill would be coming soon, I paid a visit to Redmill and was very impressed by what I saw, my son was admitted and is very happy here. His brother and I would like to thank all the kindness shown to us by all the members of your staff.

After visiting/ assessing five other care homes I quickly chose Redmill after I received a very thorough introduction with the care home. My aunt had a difficult few days settling in, but the management & staff worked very closely with her to make her feel at home and comfortable. After 6 weeks my aunt believes shes living in her own home and is in a better state of wellbeing than she has been for a long time. I am delighted with everyone here.

Redmill provided excellent care for Dad in the last 7 months of his life. He had Alzheimer's and other disabilities. The staff were all incredibly kind, caring, and respectful and I knew he was safe and being cared for at all times. The staff were also incredibly supportive of me. The nursing staff were experienced and kind and knew exactly when to escalate to outside medical care. I couldn't be happier with my Dad's care. Thank you.

My Mum recently became a resident here and she's settled in really well and that's due to the staff and how they made her feel included and welcome. She is really enjoying living here and that makes me feel reassured.

Redmill Care Home has looked after my partner for around two years now, and if there were any health issues with her they always phoned me to let me know and what actions were taken. I have always found the staff very helpful. The staff nurses keep me informed on what medications or injections my partner is to receive, and get phone calls asking my permission for her to continue getting the covid jab. So far I have no complaints about the care and home.

I'm so pleased with the recent improvements at Redmill Care Home. The new management has made a real difference and the overall improvement in standards are remarkable. The staff are attentive, and compassionate and truly seem to care about the residents. There is a more homely atmosphere now. My mum has noticeably become more content and positive again. Her personal care has been very good over the last few months. This means a lot to our family thank you so much and also to the senior manager.
