My husband is settled and happy and the carers and staff are excellent. The staff have worked exceptionally hard during covid closures and I know I can contact them any time day or night to speak to my husband or enquire how he is.

Mums happy. It has been difficult with covid restrictions. She's got a lot of needs after having a stroke and needs round the clock care. Her needs are being met.

My gran and aunt arrived together in rooms next door to each other. From the outset, the staff have been tremendous and helped them both settle, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend Redmill, myself and family will always be grateful for the excellent care provided.

My mum has been here for six to seven months at Redmill and she loves it. The care shown to her by everyone at Redmill is incredible. She has settled in well, my mum is so much better for being in here. Staff at Redmill care home are very welcoming and very caring.

My husband has been a resident in Redmill Care Home since June 2021. All the staff and management made him welcome and due to Covid restrictions, he had to isolate for 14 days. Everyone took special care of him and he is now happy and settled. I would recommend Redmill highly to family and friends.

An anniversary and was so impressed by the things that the staff had done to make it so special. They were wonderful so they really did not need to, but great. All was lovely and clean with lots of extras to make it a lovely day. They were all so caring and making sure everyone was alright. What a lovely home and thanks to all the workers.

My mum was recently admitted to hospital. Her care since returning to the home has been of a highly satisfactory standard. The staff know my mum well and care for her with kindness and efficiency. Good to see the home is being redecorated and new flooring has replaced carpets in the public corridors.

My mum was a resident at Redmill Care Home for only a few weeks, however, the care and kindness shown to both my mum and ourselves as a family was outstanding. Unfortunately, we lost mum but I can never thank the Redmill staff and management enough.

Mum has almost been in Redmill for one year now and I find the care she has been receiving second to none. I was very apprehensive about moving mum into a care home, as was dad as he saw his lifelong partner move in here (they are married 58 years this year) and I know how hard it is on him. However, I do have to say that the personal touch of all the staff, in particular the charge nurse who my mum has a special bond with, has made it so much easier to accept that she will have to stay there. Zoom meetings are arranged weekly which are a 'must' I would say during COVID as it is our lifeline to mum and the nurse always arranges it and tells her she is going on a special date! This inspires mum to 'look good' for her husband and the lovely carers help to put on her lipstick and nail polish and do her hair before the Zoom meeting. She always tells my dad how much she loves him. My dad used to do window visits but as he is also almost 80, I prefer he does Zoom. Well done Redmill!

Redmill stepped up to the plate when due to special circumstances, I asked for a Covid-Secure meeting with my mum, a resident in Redmill. The staff were keen to help and made a window-visit happen quickly and without fuss. It was great to meet my mum for the first time in almost 5 months and I will look to take the opportunity for a gazebo-visit next time.

Redmill are doing an amazing job caring for and protecting dependent and vulnerable residents during one of the most challenging periods in recent times.

I find the staff at Redmill to be, as the company motto points out, kind and caring.
These are very difficult times and I am impressed with the commitment to keep residents safe and well. They are trying very hard to keep the residents entertained and in good spirits. The new social media page allows relatives to see their loved ones and keep up to date with what’s happening.

It is a great comfort to know everyone is being looked after.

My Dad has been in Redmill for 16 months now. We are a very close family and putting Dad into care was such a difficult decision for us to make, 16 months later we know we made the right choice. Not only for him to be cared for 24/7 but in our choice in care-homes. The staff really look after him. We feel he is part of their family now too and we have built a strong relationship with the staff who look after him. Not only do they look after my Dad but really welcome my mum who visits daily. Confident when I leave Dad at the end of my visit that he is content and well looked after. Thanks to all who look after him and the support they give us, his family.

My mum has been a resident since November and dad since March. The staff are wonderful. I see a big difference for the better in both my parents since they became resident. They have plenty of activities for them to do and entertainment. Staff have been fantastic during this lockdown with keeping me up to date with mum and dad's well being. They both love it in the home and I feel my mind is at peace because of this. Well done Redmill Care Home. Hopefully, I will get to visit again soon.

My mother has really settled here. All her needs are met. She loves sitting out in the beautiful courtyard garden in the sun.

The staff are very helpful and they are all lovely. She has a lovely spacious room that looks out to a field and gets the dun in the morning which she likes. The managerial staff have been extremely helpful in getting her settled.

Staff at Redmill Care Home have been very welcoming and very caring. It is really helpful to have a shared sitting/coffee room, where all families can meet in a cosy, pleasant setting. It gives the opportunity to meet other families who are going through similar experiences.
