My mum has been resident for almost 17 months. She seems happy and settled, knowing most of the staff and other residents by name. Mostly, she no longer knows me but I have peace of mind knowing she is safe and well cared for when I am not there. From what I see she loves the staff and they her. She
eats very well and since being there, through diet she no longer needs diabetes medication. Occasionally I get phone calls when she is having a good day so we can speak which is very much appreciated. I looked at a few other care homes prior to visiting Victoria Manor and there were definitely some I would not have been happy to put my mum in to. The staff are welcoming when I visit and there is generally a good atmosphere about the place.

My uncle moved into the care home 3 weeks ago from another facility which is closing. The transition from him moving from one home to another was made seamless by Victoria Manor.
The staff seem to genuinely care about the people in their care, and they are all friendly.
My uncle enjoys the food,
his room is clean and the facilities and gardens are nice. He has a room which looks out onto the garden and he likes to see people come and go.
Management are approachable and helpful.
We are glad we chose the home for my uncle.

My mum was in Victoria Manor for 7 months, she was dreading having to go to a care home and I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they gave mum and how kind they were to all my family. Mum was bedridden and the staff were always popping in to have a chat, they made the end of Mum's life a very
pleasant experience and I will always be so grateful to everyone in Sax-Coburn unit.

I feel there is a good atmosphere in the home. I feel there isn't enough members of staff to do an even better job. The entertainment is good and the residents, staff and friends join in well.

Staff are super helpful and friendly. Do an incredible job of caring for my gran. Highly recommend. Always accommodating and happy to help us with any questions we have. Facilities are spotless and a very nice environment to be in.

My experience is with Victoria Manor and I find the manager and her team extremely helpful, caring and supportive. My mum is well looked after and it is a relief to relatives to know that their loved one is in good hands. My family is present at the care home on an almost daily basis and have not ever
felt anything other than welcome. Have got to know several if not all the staff and they are all wonderful. I was taking my mother out recently and a staff member rushed back into the room to brush my mum's hair as it had got messed when we put her jacket on. They care over and above, much appreciated.

It was lovely to visit my aunt in Windsor House and witness first-hand how well she was being cared for. The staff are so inclusive. They encourage all residents to take part in activities. I saw this first hand during my visit when there was a Zumba session. All the residents were encouraged to do
what they were capable of and the staff were singing and taking part including the managers. There is always a lovely atmosphere in Windsor and staff are very approachable and helpful. One staff member in particular always makes time to check in with family members to make sure they are happy with everything. Every time I visit there are always drinks and snacks being offered to residents and families. Thank you.

Staff are really friendly and care about the residents.
Rooms are very tired and would benefit from an upgrade which I believe has happened in other units. I am sure the payment is the same for an inferior room.

We have been connected to Victoria Manor Windsor Unit for over four years now. The current Windsor Team - carers, nurses, clinical lead, cleaner, laundry, kitchen and activities co-ordinator are great. They provide a kind and caring atmosphere of genuine concern for the residents. Mum feels cared for
and really appreciates the interest the staff take in her on a day to day basis.
The one area that could do with improvement is the rooms - nothing has been done in the last four years. A freshen-up/refurb would make a big difference.

Overall I rate Victoria Manor excellent, however it does look tired and could do with a refresh in regards to the decor/rooms. For the residents who have dementia, colour-coordinating the corridors might be helpful?

Staff are great and good feedback. Beautiful outside area. Food varied and medication drinks etc all properly monitored and feedback to us is excellent. Property in need of some refurbishment such as paintworks carpets doors etc. it would be good to get dementia friendly decor too. Overall very happy

My father-in-law is a resident in the Windsor unit. The care he is given is exceptional as the staff are very caring and attentive. The meals served are amazing and he is very content in his surroundings.

My father is in the Windsor unit and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff that look after him. Windsor unit is now his home and the staff look after him exceptionally well. I always browse the menu when I am in and I’m always jealous of the food on offer. The manager and her team have looked after
my father so well since he arrived in Windsor.
Excellent facilities but more than that are the staff always welcoming and nothing is too much for them. A credit to Victoria Manor.

My grandad has been a resident in Windsor for over a month now. We are impressed by the level of care. He is really enjoying the meals and has even gained some needed weight.
Staff are attentive, fun and friendly.
The premises are clean and the garden area is lovely.
We are aware of the various

My father moved into Victoria Manor in April and I am very impressed with the level of care and attention he is receiving, the day he arrived it was like a welcome party and numerous staff came into his room to welcome him and to introduce themselves, this certainly put my mind at ease.

My dad is very well looked after. He’s clean and well-fed. All the staff are tremendous and very friendly. Windsor unit number 1. I could think of nowhere else my father should be other than Windsor unit taking care of him.

Lovely inside clean, homely decor and beautiful surroundings. Most staff come across polite and friendly however some care workers don’t speak fluent English, which can be a barrier for my dad, causing a limited sense of belonging and a breakdown with communication and needs. Some staff can be welcoming,
others incompetent and too rough when handling, coping and managing when attending to my dads attentive needs. I’ve so far witnessed little interaction with users and staff. Kitchen staff are great. Such issues I will be raising with management.

My first impressions were that this was a lovely location, beautiful gardens and friendly staff. After a few weeks of settling my husband in, this impression has been confirmed. I know my husband is safe, well looked after and cared for. If I have any concerns, I know I will be listened to and get support
for my husband. The home itself is bright and homely. The staff are friendly, smiling and happy to see visitors and to make sure residents are ok. Very pleased my husband is in this care home.
