I am really glad that my granny is here. I have got to know the staff and they always listen if I have something to say and always very kind to my granny and myself.

I have always found every time that I have visited my mum, the staff are always friendly and interacting with the residents no matter when I visit ie 'time'.
Also when they are doing activities they let their family members join in which is really good, that way we get to know the other residents.

My mum has settled really well and this gives me and my family peace of mind knowing that she is getting excellent care.

Any time I have been to visit my mum at the lovely home it is very welcoming and the staff are always so friendly and very attentive to all the residents and this has made me feel very content that my mum is getting the best care that she deserves and all her needs are met and getting her involved in activities, which is really good to see.

My mother was left lying in her own urine. At 10 am she hadn't had her breakfast the staff's excuse was "we were busy elsewhere also she attacked a member of staff". My sister was left to clean and dress mum, staff didn't offer assistance. This is a day before mum was due to change homes we as a family feel really disgusted by their attitude whether it's our mum or anyone else's relative. Absolutely shocking. CQC next.

My Mum was still in bed at 10.00am, no staff around. Went to get Mum up myself, discovered she was wet and her bed was also wet through to the mattress. I have previous experience within care sector and know that this was not from an hour since the last check. When questioned staff response was, we were busy doing other things and they had done a check an hour previously - she has said she was violent with staff.

Overall Experience

My mum has been in Belleaire House on two occasions for respite as she is no longer able to live independently. She settled in much better than expected which was due to the care, patience and understanding of all staff who looked after her. Mum's room and shower room has everything she could need therefore she was very comfortable and content.
