The popular activity programme includes reminiscence therapy, arts and crafts, musical entertainment and a cinema club. Residents can also enjoy regular trips and outings and visits from a mobile library and hairdresser.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Several staff provide great support to me. My dad has lived here since September 2016 and no matter what time I go in, day or night, there is no smell of urine. Massive 'high 5' from me. My dad is always clean and tidy. Over the last few weeks, his condition has deteriorated. Staff immediately stepped up his level of care. His diabetes is the best controlled it's ever been. Anything I want to do with my dad, staff endeavour to support and help me make it happen where possible. I am confident my dad is safe and cared for.

My dad is in this care home. It is excellent. I can't complain about the care for him, food is excellent, different every day, cleanliness in the room, staff are very helpful and friendly in every way. Entertainment is excellent from bingo to singing in a choir. Talking to staff and other residents - people know their names. I would recommend it very much and have told a lot of people that my dad is being looked after all the time with 24 hour care.

I enjoyed living independently, However, I recognised my needs were such that I needed greater support. Since moving into Braemount I have not needed to back to hospital. I have a lovely room with many of my personal possessions. I am no longer lonely. I have made several new friends and I enjoy the daily activities and music in the lounge. The staff are my friends and are all very pleasant. My family are able to visit regularly. The soup is excellent. The cook asks if we have any preferences, and usually can oblige. All the residents have different needs and the staff work very hard to support us all.
