Westerfield Care Centre, located in Paisley, is nestled in the lowlands of Scotland, just ten minutes from the thriving city of Glasgow. The town is easily accessible, with numerous transport links.

Westerfield has 64 beds and offers outstanding residential, nursing and dementia care for its residents. It also boasts three dining rooms, three quiet rooms and three lounges, allowing plenty of room for activities, relaxation and leisure.

The care home uses the latest technology to effectively manage medication, ensure peace of mind for relatives, provide personalised care and oversee the running of the home any place, any time. The innovative technology allows staff to update records as they go, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, whilst also enabling them to spend more time with residents.

Residents each have their own spacious bedroom with an en-suite wet room, and there’s free Wi-Fi access for all. There's also a family room where residents can enjoy quality time with their loved ones.

Westerfield has three floors; the top two, named The Stables and Thistle, accommodate frail and nursing units, whilst the Braes unit on the ground floor provides care for the elderly mentally infirm. Each unit has its own dedicated, specialist teams who ensure the safety and wellbeing of each resident.

As well as featuring its own hair salon, Westerfield also has a secure garden that allows residents to spend quality time outdoors in a safe, secure environment.

My sisters and I feel that our mum is safe, well cared for, happy and content. She has found a new home which has a great atmosphere. She always looks well presented and interacts warmly with the staff. The staff are always friendly and call me by my first name. Mum's care is tailored to her needs.
As they change staff react positively to our comments, take them on board and act on them. We trust the staff. This gives our mother and the family peace of mind. We are confident about her welfare and believe she is living so long because she is being well looked after.
