Overall Experience
The staff in Caledonia House are amazing, they are kind, caring and very approachable. My only observation is hat I don't see the staff sitting with the residents on the occasions I visit. They are completing care plans. I feel there should be more staff on duty. The food at times looks unappetising but overall if I had to choose again I would still choose Caledonia.

Activities not always suitable for mum as she is deaf and blind. Feel more could be done to help her boredom and isolation.

Overall Experience

I am a staff nurse myself working in a care home in Kirkintilloch and can compare the service my relative has received. I feel my aunt receives a good standard of care, she is comfortable, knows the staff well and is cared for to the best of the staff ability. The staff appear to be friendly and helpful to both myself, my family and my aunt the service user.
