Hill View's expert care provision includes nursing, palliative, respite and convalescence care, with professionals also experienced in the varied challenges of dementia, Huntington's and Parkinson's.

A purpose-built facility, Hill View consists of five separate houses, all of which are tailored to the care of residents, their health and security, and their daily lifestyles. Bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation with attractive furnishings and decor and can be personalised to suit.

Special diets and preferences are incorporated into the food menu, with mealtimes treated as an important part of the day and good nutrition championed, as throughout all Advinia homes.

Many group activities delight residents such as quizzes, bingo and film shows, as well as visiting entertainers and reminiscence sessions.

I have been very impressed with Ulda House, where my husband now lives. The staff are caring and loving to all the residents and very patient with those who need more attention.
They are most welcoming to visitors, and if we have any little worries about small health issues, they are dealt with right
away.
It has been a load of my mind, as I didn't want him to come into a care home until the decision was taken out of my hands.
If it was possible to have a physiotherapist to give them little arm and leg exercises, I think they might benefit from that.

My father moved to Hill View at the end of August. As a family, we have nothing but praise for the way he has been treated. I have found the staff extremely helpful and always willing to answer any question. I am very impressed with the way the staff treat the residents.

My Sister in Law has been in the home for over 4 years. She is well looked after and content. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Sometimes appear thin on the ground. We are generally happy with her care. Sometimes, her nails need to be cut and cleaned. Staff are happy to do this but need to be prompted.

Since my mother entered Hill View in November 2017, there has been a better understanding of her care needs and staff respond accordingly. Staff are aware of things that upset Mum and take care to avoid situations. The home has a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are supportive of the family and are sympathetic

My mum is well cared for and as a family, we are happy with the care and support provided by all staff.
During a period of illness, my mum was very well looked after.
I believe in the current climate she received better care than in hospital.

Pleased with the overall care my mother receives. Staff are very welcoming and caring to both residents and relatives.
Nothing is a problem to them. Although there are activities, sometimes I feel there could be more to challenge the residents.

The staff are a very professional and welcoming bunch. My mother has settled in very well and often mentions how good the staff are to her. She has been looked after to the highest of standards. She is eating well now as the meats are of an excellent standard. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff
and they keep the family up to date of how things are progressing. My mother was a very independent person before she had her stroke. The staff has helped her deal with this very well!

"I have dedicated over 20 years to working in care homes, beginning my career as a Care Assistant and progressing to Home Manager. After completing my Nursing degree in 2006, I gained extensive experience in Severe and Enduring Mental Illness wards, addiction services, and acute psychiatry. I have also undertaken further university-level study in Palliative and End of Life Care, Alcohol, Drugs and Addiction, and Mentorship.


Before moving into care homes, I spent 10 years as a Support Worker for young adults with physical disabilities. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of complex care needs and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.


Outside of work, I am a proud mum of three and grandmother to five. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, swimming, and eating out. Above all, I am passionate about supporting care homes to provide safe, compassionate environments where residents can thrive."
