Hill View's expert care provision includes nursing, palliative, respite and convalescence care, with professionals also experienced in the varied challenges of dementia, Huntington's and Parkinson's.

A purpose-built facility, Hill View consists of five separate houses, all of which are tailored to the care of residents, their health and security, and their daily lifestyles. Bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation with attractive furnishings and decor and can be personalised to suit.

Special diets and preferences are incorporated into the food menu, with mealtimes treated as an important part of the day and good nutrition championed, as throughout all Advinia homes.

Many group activities delight residents such as quizzes, bingo and film shows, as well as visiting entertainers and reminiscence sessions.

My mum has been in Hill View Care Home for 3 years. Standard of care is quite good. I visit often (every day) and sometimes I have to raise issues. These are always addressed to my satisfaction. The care home could be better - staff (most) work hard to care for the residents but there are a few who
need better supervision and training.

I visit this home 3 times a week and as far as I'm concerned it's kept very clean and the residents are very well looked after. The staff are very helpful, I put my name down for the future.

This is a great home. I am a younger person as a resident and I can see my family all the time. I get out nearly every day. The food is great and the staff are excellent. Full marks!

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2020

"I have been in the care sector for 18 years, both in the NHS and in care homes, and I am a Registered Nurse with an SVQ 4 Management Award.


I've had the great privilege of being at Hill View since October 2020, firstly as a Deputy Manager and then as Home Manager from July 2021.


My goal has always been to make Hill View a home away from home for the residents that live here and we like to make sure that they are involved in everything that we do.


I'm very hands-on and if I'm not in my office you'll probably find me playing dominoes or having a sing-song with the residents."
