My mum is a resident in the Orbiston Unit within Hattonlea and has been for the past 5 years, the staff are amazing and the residents are well looked after.

Staff are friendly and nothing is ever any bother for them. The unit is very clean and residents are well fed.

I continually praise the staff and tell them to keep up the good work, well done to all the staff in the Orbiston Unit.

I find Hatton Lea very clean and comfortable for the residents. There is always plenty of food and drinks available and the staff are great at looking after everyone. It is like one big family group and all visitors are made very welcome. A very caring and professional run unit.

My relative has been looked after in this home for about 4 years. During this time I have had nothing but praise for the staff as they carry out their duties. Her room which she has not been moved from is kept very clean and warm.
The staff have always contacted me, even in other countries (On holiday) to let me know if anything such as a medical issue is happening to her.

The staff in her unit are always smiling and it is always sad when a face (Member of staff) decides to leave. The personal attention for each and every patient (Or resident ) is always at the back of their minds and I personally feel that if this is how a care home is run, I would not hesitate when my time comes.

My mother stayed in the Hatton Lea for a weeks respite in October 2018 when work was carried out at her home. The care that she received was outstanding in every way. The meals were fab, cleanliness of the place was excellent and each and every one of the staff was welcoming, friendly and caring. Each person was treated the same regardless of illness. Amazing place and lovely people.

This is the best care home in the UK. The staff are very professional and are among the most hardworking nurses I have ever come across. It is always clean. The staff in the Belvidere unit are so friendly and always have time for the residents and the family members. At times my mum will call me up just to tell me how happy she is and that is a great happiness to me. Can’t recommend Hatton Lea any more, you won’t be disappointed.

The only thing I would change is the day room could do with an update.

Our mum was in the excellent care of the staff from January until she passed away peacefully on 24th May. The staff showed great professionalism and immerse empathy and compassion. They kept a close relationship with mum and family members offering a great support network over a very difficult few months as her condition naturally deteriorated due to her chronic illness. I have fond memories of a sing-song on Valentine's night when mum was singing along with everyone. The staff do their best to create a cheery atmosphere.

I have the highest of praise to offer all the staff who helped during those few months and especially the way end of life care was handled with the utmost respect for mum offering the dignified peaceful passing that mum would have wanted.

Thanks again to all the team at Hattonlea who are greatly appreciated by the family.

The staff are very professional, polite, caring and helpful. They make it feel like home. Nobody wants their relatives to be ill but at least to see them cared for in such a caring way helps to relieve the pain.

Recently my husband became immobile and his needs have changed. There is now more requirement for staff interaction. His personal care has always been met. When myself and family visit it makes a difference to see staff members sitting with my husband. The service and care provided at Hatton Lea make it easier to deal with a difficult situation easier. We visit daily and staff are friendly and approachable.

My mother was a resident of Hatton Lea for 16 months. Sadly she passed in January 2018. The end of life care that my mother and we as a family received from the staff on Shirrel Unit was excellent. Mum was treated with the utmost dignity and respect at all times.

My father stayed for one week's respite stay. He found every member of staff incredibly kind, helpful and supportive. Most importantly to him, they did everything they could to ensure his stay met his expectations. Ie. He received his meals in his room. He was able to get up later when he preferred to - as he is 83 - this matters.

He came home and said to my mother the staff and care could not have been bettered.

Very happy with the care that my mother in law receives in Hatton Lea, especially the staff in Shirrel House. For example, it was my mother-in-laws birthday on Sunday and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a seated area for all the family to enjoy time with her and supplied a beautiful cake, just one example of the caring staff in Hatton Lea.

My mother was a resident in Hatton Lea for nine weeks while my dad was hospitalised. Throughout her stay all staff from cleaning to nursing could not have supported her any better. They were excellent with all family members during visits and my mother could not have been cared for any better.
