Nothing is too much trouble.

Very well looked after. Friendly staff and always welcomed with a cup of coffee.

Home is lovely and staff are lovely. My Gran is well cared for and happy here.

My husband is resident at the home. He was very ill and not expected to pull through with the time and dedication from the staff he slowly recuperated. The carers and management are so caring for all the residents as I have seen for myself, even down to the domestics who are always busy but always greet you. I am a regular visitor to the home and it is spotless and the rooms are very clean and well furnished. I am always welcomed every day I am there and received coffee and biscuits and asked how I am myself. I find this is one of the best homes in Dundee and I have viewed many before my husband went there. I am very satisfied with the home and the care he is given as his welfare comes first.

Over the last weeks, the general atmosphere in the home has been amazing. Staff (all) seem more relaxed and happier. We have complained many times over the 10 months Mum has been a resident, but I think due to changes in staff members and a good management team (more so in last few weeks) residents and staff seem to know and care for every resident. I met two ladies who had come to view home for their Mum and I totally recommended Ballumbie (This was not my opinion many months ago).

My sister has been very ill over the past week, the family have been with her constantly during this period. The dedication and love she has received has been wonderful. The staff have also been very supportive to all of us, offering us food and drinks throughout the day and night.

Entertainment for residents could be better but is difficult in the circumstances of the residents illnesses.

My independence was respected and staff were always willing to help if required.

Good personal care and attention to residents. Activities improving. Room kept clean. Good varied menus. Staff there for you as a relative when sometimes get a bit upset. Only issue is clothes, mainly underwear going missing.

My mother has been a resident of Ballumbie Care Home for the first 4 years, while this has been a very difficult time, she has received excellent care and treatment. The staff are friendly and attentive in dealing with my mother and the other residents. The staff do an excellent job under difficult circumstances, as all residents have different needs. That does not mean that there is no room for improvement this in not a criticism but should keep the staff on their toes.

We had expert advice and support from everyone. Last week was particularly difficult as you can imagine but once again the staff were there to guide and support us. My mum was treated with respect and dignity throughout and we have nothing but praise and the utmost respect for all of them.

I do believe that the staff of Ballumbie are magnificent and that they very much make the place the special home it is. As my father's health continues to deteriorate I am absolutely sure if he requires care then Ballumbie will be my number one choice. Thank you to everyone for being kind, caring and patient!

My brother has settled in well. It's a nice home and the carers are very good to him.

Every time I go to visit mum I see how helpful and caring the staff are. If mum has a fall or change of medicine they contact me. She has her appetite back and likes to drink water and tea. Before coming there she was in hospital and another care home for two weeks but the atmosphere are the other care home was awful. There has been a good change in mum since she came to Ballumbie Care Home, I can only say positive things about Ballumbie and it's staff.

My mum enjoys staying here. She likes the staff and the routine. Only thing she would like is to be taken out more.

Great friendly staff, grandmother settled in well. Food and facilities are perfect for my grandmother.

I am resident at Ballumbie. I enjoy living here. always things to do. I use the bus a lot or shopping. The carers are kind and helpful. The food is excellent. The manager is friendly and kind. I enjoy living here.

My sister-in-law has been resident in the secure unit of Ballumbie Court for 2 ½ years. She suffers from Alzheimer's disease. The care she is receiving at the home is excellent in every respect. The staff liaise with my wife who has power of attorney for her sister keeping her very well informed of all matters. We have complete confidence in Ballumbie Court and the staff.
