My dad was moved to Dundee to be near family. The care home manager met with me very quickly and explained everything I needed to know before he moved. From day 1, I have been so impressed by the standards of care. Staff have made every effort to get to know my dad and who he is as a person. Although he has dementia this is so important to me that they know him and all of his likes. The home has many thoughtful touches, the dinner table is set for every meal, half napkins and table cloths. the food is excellent and residents helped with eating. There is a genuine, caring atmosphere by all staff. I can pop in anytime and there is a friendly welcome. Communication with me as a relative is excellent, entertainment are numerous and my dad enjoys all of these. Well done to all. I have had no regrets and have been so impressed.

My time at Bluebell gave me back my independence and confidence. The care and support from staff was very good. I was a bit anxious at first and reluctant to come out of my room but staff soon put me at ease and encouraged me to join the other service users in the dining room for meals. I soon made new friends which helped me in my recovery. I cannot thank the staff enough as I have now made a full recovery.

Following a short stay in hospital, I was referred to 'Bluebell care Unit' as part of 'Riverside View Care Home' to continue my rehabilitation. during that time, I was cared for extremely well and treated with respect at all times. Staff could not have been more caring and attentive.

Since my stay here (about 6 weeks) I have found all staff to be courteous, friendly, caring and professional. The carers do a great job providing anything and everything promptly and always with a smile. I cannot fault the carers and nurses at all. My experience here has been a very good stepping stone from hospital to home.
