Marina Care Home

This is a very good home. Resident is very happy and content.

Very happy with everything. The staff are great.

Everything is really good. Mum is always looked after really well and the staff and management are great. The home is always spotless and the food is excellent. There is a happy atmosphere every time I come in.

The care this is provided to my granny is excellent and I have zero complaints. The staff are beyond excellent and so friendly and give the best care to my granny. Overall, the care and support that is provided here is excellent and they work so hard.

Many thanks to Marina Care Home for allowing me to bring Mum to our house for Christmas dinner, Mum thoroughly enjoyed it and it meant a lot to me and my husband to also have my so-loved sister and brother-in-law join us for dinner with Mum, a very enjoyable evening had by all. Mum was looking so well and her mobility has come on so well now, being able to walk on her own etc. The best and much loved wee Mum that I/we could ask for. Love her so much.

I have always felt welcome when visiting my mother-in-law who is a resident in The Marina Care Home. The staff are friendly and helpful and whenever I ask for something to be done for her, they are always very obliging. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely within a safe, person-centred and caring environment which is very reassuring for families visiting their loved ones - thank you!

As always - the home was bright, clean and welcoming. Staff are always polite and pleasant. The care and management, in every aspect, are second to none.

Any time I visit, which is often, the home is clean, my brother is clean and tidy and the staff are so attentive. In my opinion, the best care home in all of the area.

My mum spent the last three weeks of her life in the Marina Care Home. During that time the care and attention she received was second to none, she was treated with dignity and wanted for nothing. The staff were caring and attentive which meant Mum spent her last days' pain-free and in comfort.

All the staff are very caring and approachable. Nothing is too much that you can ask them eg: another cup of tea for the resident - everything is done happily.

My mum is a resident of the home and I visit regularly. I visited today as Deputy Chair of Mid Ulster Council. I was made very welcome and was introduced to some of the residents and the caring team. Some of the residents were having their lunch. Spoke with the manager for a short while too. I could see residents are happy and well cared for.

My father was admitted in July 2020. In the last year, in my experience, all staff have treated my father as if he was their own family member. He is always clean, warm, happy and well-fed. He is treated with dignity at all times and his feelings are always at the forefront of his care. I would highly recommend Marina Care Home from my own experiences.

My mother was very ill when she was admitted to Marina Care Home after suffering a stroke. She now eats, sleeps well, talks to everyone and loves the attention from the staff. The care from the nurses, cars and all staff is exceptional and I highly recommend Marina Care Home.

My father is well looked after and very happy, it's a pleasure to come visit, so helpful.

My mum has been here for quite a while now and has been extremely well looked after. The staff are very friendly and caring. My mum is always happy when I visit and she likes the staff also. She is always clean and tidy looking and her bedroom is clean as well. If I had to, I would stay here myself.

My sister has been cared for in Marina Care Home for almost 10 months and we, as a family, are delighted with the care she receives. Anything we ask for is never a problem. Every visit made was always a pleasure, they even provided a cake for birthday and wedding celebrations. Every phone call is answered, and more importantly, they returned calls when asked to do so. My brother-in-law receives so much reassurance from staff which helps and contents him so much. We would recommend this care home to anyone in need of care. Thank you all so much.

My father has been here since 8th February 2019 after we were told he had 3 months to live. As you can guess, due to the amazing care he receives, he's still here. In March this year he was diagnosed as diabetic but, again due to his brilliant care, he's now off medication for this condition because they got it under control. During this pandemic, they have kept everyone safe and well and provide the love and attention the families can't at present.

It was great to see my wife during the lockdown. Staff were great, friendly and thorough. Her sisters came with me on visits and they were impressed. Very happy with overall care to our loved wife and sister. God bless you all.

The caring of the nursing staff has been excellent, especially during bouts of illness.
