Could not fault this care home ever, but to praise it.
Good staff, excellent manager. Loving care to my husband, going out of their way to care for him.

My mum is a client in Stanley Wilson Lodge. She is really happy and she is receiving the best possible care from the whole of the team there.

I have worked at Stanley Wilson Lodge for 29 years and love my role as the Saffron Club Manager, I am very passionate about the care of the elderly.


I support the staff by ensuring that the club offers a wide range of activities, whilst promoting Independence, choice, Social Interaction and Well-being.


I am a mum of 3 and a Nanna to 8 grandchildren.

Job Title: Care Manager

Shilpa is a Registered Nurse, a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and The Royal College of Nursing. Shilpa holds a Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science and a Diploma in Mentoring.
Shilpa joined Stanley Wilson Lodge as an RGN in October 2011 and has been an eminent part of the Nursing Team since then. Shilpa has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 10 years. Her experience covers Emergency Nursing, Critical Care (ITU) Nursing and Elderly Frail Nursing. Shilpa is a very experienced nurse and has in depth clinical knowledge and skills.
Shilpa is Sue Clayden’s deputy and in charge of the home when the Home Manager is not present.
