Croft Meadow

Mum came in on a 4 week trial . Her first 10 days i wasn't sure if she was setting in to well having looking after herself for 3 years . She was taken to hospital with a chest infection overnight she said she was looking forward going back to the care home from then forward she settled in and has made friends and joining in with the activities and feels as she adds something to the party. She enjoys the food and is well happy with her room and added photos and pictures that she had at home. I can see a big difference in her and feel happy to go on holiday knowing she is being well looked after. The District nurse noticed how positive her attitude was . Would recommend to anyone to Croft Meadow.

With her debilitating condition she is as happy as she can be. It was lovely to see her well cared for looking smart & hair ect all clean. She appeared to enjoy our visit as she remember some of the fun times we had together. The staff were all very thoughtful patient & encouraging

Visited today. My brother looked well cared for and comfortable. He said he liked his room. The staff were amazing and so helpful. One in particular was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. The nurse was able to answer questions about my brothers health. This was on the nursing floor. He said the food was good.

My father has settled at Croft Meadow so well he is healthier and happier. Care is great and the energy of the home is very calm and peaceful. Happy for Arthur.

In the 2 years my mother was at Croft Meadow the staff always treated her with kindness and respect. In her last few days when she was very ill all the staff showed great compassion.

My thoughts on my stay at Croft Meadow are, being very grateful to two ladies for helping me with respite care while waiting a total hip replacement. I worked at Croft Meadow prior to its opening and it has been a great comfort to have this support during this difficult time.

For the support they have not only given my mother but the family. In a time when you have such mixed emotions they guide support and care for the most important people in your world. My mother tells us she feels safe and cared for. I can't ask for more.

It is a welcoming and warm place to visit. My mother was helped to settle in very well. Nothing is too much trouble.

Very welcoming, staff attentive, my husband settled in quickly which relieved me! The fact that he is happy with the situation means, so am I, for his sake. I can also visit whenever I like.

Cannot praise them enough

Everything is just great, she settled well and everyone is so helpful. I love visiting her, we just returned from a trip out on the mini bus. She could not be in a better place.

Although our mums stay was very short, can I just say the care and kindness shown to mum was excellent. The staff (all) are wonderful and caring people and we could spend a lifetime thanking them and it still wouldn't be neough. We live quite a way from our late mum but we knew that mum was safe and being cared for so well. Thank you for being there for our mum.

I am lucky to stay here. The care is exceptional. I can talk to management if I have any issues.

After a two month stay in hospital and 4 weeks in a rehab unit, my husband moved into Croft Meadow, unable to walk. Even on arrival the change was instant. The staff treated him like a human being and were very kind and capable. 2 days later he was walking with a zimmer frame (2 months later he hardly needs his walking stick!) He is showered, shaved and dressed every morning. Breakfast is provided when the resident wants it (other meals are more formal with everyone eating together). The tables are nicely out. The place is always clean and no smells! He is treated with respect at all times. Entertainment is provided am and pm on weekdays. The management listen when there is an issue and usually action is taken quickly. Very very pleased.

Eveyrone is so nice and always happy to help me out. Enjoy activities all the other floors, made some new friends in the home. I settled so well here.

Mum has had respite care in September and December 2024. Each time she has enjoyed her stay. Staff have made her stay very special. There are always so many activities going on to engage her! Whilst there I was able to attend a Christmas Carol service with her, which she thoroughly enjoyed and so did I! Thank you for all your continued care and support.

I have been a resident of Croft Meadow for a few months. I am feeling much better. The staff are all friendly and communicate. I have supportive help as I need it. Food and activities were of a good standard. I feel safe and happier.

Activities are good and the care is good, I think I will be very happy here.

I love living here at Croft Meadow, I have made lots of friends. The staff are happy - I try to join in activities.

Warm and welcoming staff, shown around by the deputy manager was very informative. My friend has been living here for a while and loves the activities, very engaging. the deputy manager has gone out of her way to respond to our requests and put our minds at rest that our friend is in safe hands.
