All residential provision is personalised and the home employs over 50 experienced members of staff to care for residents.
Fees include a full health needs assessment, accommodation, laundry service, meals, professional input from GP and other professionals, 24 hour care and weekly activities. We provide spacious rooms of which some are ensuite facilities.

If your looking for a care home that shows compassion and understanding of your loved ones needs then Agnes and Arthur is the place for you. My lovely mother spent the last few years there and was treated with love and dignity. When you arrive the doors opened by one of the many carers or domestic staff who greet you with a smile. The home itself is spotless clean and the owners have invested and improved all areas. My mum who suffers with dementia spent many happy hours there and the daily entertainment they provide lifts many residents. My mum s dementia slowly declined but the team made sure she was still involved taking time to paint her nails and read to her. This made such a difference to her mood swings which again was treated with great understanding. The home is visited by a hairdresser who also goes the extra mile. At Agnes and Arthur they all work as a team and i cannot thank them enough.

I have been extremely pleased with my experience so far of this care home. My husband has not been in a home before and is finding settling in difficult. However, the staff could not be more caring and understanding. The home is adequately furnished and clean. His room is kept very clean with all the essentials. His clothing is laundered to a very high standard and beautifully ironed. The food is varied and well presented, with a choice of menus. There is a good choice of activities planned and well organised, and the staff will discuss the arrangements with the family. So, with well trained, helpful, and caring staff, I am pleased that, since my husband now needs to be a resident in a care home, he is in the care of Agnes and Arthur.
