Very clean and tidy ever time I visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Have been visiting for only 9 months but have got to know most staff very well, they pop in for a chat with my friend and am on first name terms with most of them. Two weeks ago I sopped a leaking toilet seal in the room. I found the maintenance man who has been there since the home opened ten years ago. Told him the problem, within an hour it was replaced.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are pleased to learn that you find our team friendly and helpful during your visits.
After only knowing Meadow Rose Nursing Home for 3 days, I have found the staff to be amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Mom's food looks amazing and Mom loves it too. On arriving at Meadow Rose, the first person I see is one of the staff in particular. She has a very warm smile and personality, which makes me smile. She is very pleasant and helpful. Another staff member is an amazing helpful lady too. The boss man is a very pleasant/friendly man, always smiling. All staff are the friendliest people I've ever known. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your warm words of kindness. We are glad that as a team we make you smile when you visit. It's a privilege for us to care for your beloved mother.
I would like to thank all the staff for looking after my wife. I am pleased, thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you are happy with the care that our staff are providing to your beloved wife.
It was set to rain for part of the day but all seven wheelchairs, families, and carers set off at 10:30 in convoy. Happy the sun was shining. The station staff said only two wheelchairs on a train at one time, but we got there in two trips and one trip coming back. We saw the Brummie Bull took loads of photos, went shopping and visited a pub. It stayed dry and was a great day out. We got home at 17:40 just in time for tea. A lovely day out together.
Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trip to the City Centre.
We all went to Birmingham and had a lovely time and visited a pub for some food, the train journey was a lovely change.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback. We are pleased that you had a positive experience.
We would like to thank all of the staff at Meadow Rose, especially the activities staff for organising a lovely anniversary party today. There are too many people to mention individually but a heartfelt thanks, we all enjoyed it, sunshine included and food and songs.

I very much enjoyed my birthday party, it was my wish to have one, I got to see al my cousins and all my friends. The activities coordinator decorated the lounge lovely and booked in a singer for the. It was a wonderful day.
Father has only been at Meadow Rose for one month and I find all of the staff extremely pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Cleanliness is good, food is good. Overall extremely satisfied.
All the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and welcoming. My husband seems well cared for.
The staff are always welcoming whatever time I visit. They are thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble regarding my dad's care. His room is lovely, warm and cosy and is always spotlessly clean. The entertainment is great, always enthusiastic and well-led. The food is good, always a choice.

My mother has been at Meadow Rose since April 2023, and we, as a family, are extremely happy with the care, help and support she received from everyone connected with the home. From management to reception to the carers and nurses and the ever-enthusiastic and ingenious activities girls who keep every going with various fun things to do, parties and seasonal events. As a family, we are all made to feel welcome any time we visit.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. It means a lot to our team at Meadow Rose.
Very good, Auntie is being looked after very well. Very nice place.
Meadow Rose Nursing Home went the extra mile on 16th October. My niece was graduating and called to let them know there was a live stream of the event and could they show it to her mom. Meadow Rose played the ceremony in the lounge so my sister could watch on a large screen. Later on, they also sent photos and video footage to us. It truly made an emotional day very special and a shared memory for the three of us.
Thank you for your kind words. Congratulations to your niece on her success and we were so pleased to facilitate the livestream so that her mum could follow such an important event.
I am very happy with this care home. They look after me and nothing is too much trouble. They took me out for the day and I went bowling with them. Really enjoyed the day.
Thank you for your feedback. I am happy that you enjoyed your day out.
I arrived here in April. After the initial settling in period, I've discovered that I couldn't have been sent to a better place to live. My room is more than adequate and always kept clean. All the staff, carers leave no stone unturned to cater for my every need. In particular, I would like to mention the activities girls and receptionist and kitchen staff, also laundry and cleaners.
Thank you for the feedback. It means a lot to the team. Glad that you have settled well at Meadow Rose.
I find the staff very friendly and they all go out of their way to help and reassure the residents. It is a very clean environment and all of the residents seem content the times I have visited. It's such a pleasure to visit and I've become very familiar with a lot of the staff and residents. It's also so nice to see how many activities are available and the way everyone interacts. Excellent work everyone.
Thanks for the lovely feedback. It means a lot to our team.
My mother-in-law moved into Meadow Rose Nursing Home in January 2023 and has settled in well. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the patients. There are lots of activities in the home that she participates in. She is generally very happy in the home. We have no concerns.
Thank you for the lovely review. We are glad that your mother-in-law is happy in our care.
They asked me if I wanted a brew it was lovely.

Meet the Team (5)

I joined Macc Care nearly two decades ago, and it has truly been a remarkable journey. Meadow Rose holds a very special place in my heart, as I have spent almost half of my career here. This home isn’t just a workplace for me, it feels like a second family.
What I love most about my job is that it’s all about people. Over the years, I’ve built so many meaningful connections, shared countless moments of laughter, and had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of the most important chapters of their lives. Being able to brighten someone’s day, offer comfort, or simply be there when they need you, that’s what makes this work so deeply fulfilling for me and for our whole team and for me.
If you’re looking for a home where your loved one will be welcomed with warmth, compassion, and genuine care, Meadow Rose is a place where they will be treated with dignity, kindness, and a true sense of belonging.

I am the proud mom of four sons, two grandsons and a newly arrived granddaughter.
I live in the local area, which has helped me build lasting, valuable links with the communities to enable me to complete my job role at Meadow Rose.

It all started in December 2014, when I got my bank staff contract in the Domestic Department.
Since then, I have worked continuously for Meadow Rose, taking every day as a new challenge and opportunity to prove myself and help my colleagues, to do my best for our residents.
Working at Meadow Rose, it has not always been easy, going through challenges and hard times (especially the Covid-19 period), but what I can say is that we all have been supported by our Home Manager, Senior Management, Director's Level, etc, when needed.
Meadow Rose is my second Home. I love being part of the Team, I enjoy every day at work, even when I'm extremely busy. I am proud of my colleagues, and together we are Team Meadow Rose.

I am the Customer Relations Manager at Meadow Rose Care Home with experience across the care sector and a personal understanding of how emotional and challenging finding the right care for a loved one can be. I'm passionate about supporting families with compassion, honesty, and reassurance every step of the way.
Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my five children and our dog, who certainly take up most of my spare time. When I do get the chance to relax, I enjoy paddleboarding and spending time on the Isle of Wight.

As a valued member of the Meadow Rose team for 8 years, Sophie has undergone a remarkable journey of growth and development. Her career progression from care assistant to senior care assistant, and ultimately to lead activities coordinator, is a shining example of her dedication and passion for her work. Sophie's academic achievements, including completing her NVQ level 3 in health and social care, further demonstrate her commitment to excellence.
In her personal time, Sophie cherishes moments spent with her family, whether that's browsing car boot sales or attending craft fairs. Her favourite culinary delights include Chinese cuisine and spaghetti bowls.
