I find the staff very friendly and they all go out of their way to help and reassure the residents. It is a very clean environment and all of the residents seem content the times I have visited. It's such a pleasure to visit and I've become very familiar with a lot of the staff and residents. It's also

My mother-in-law moved into Meadow Rose Nursing Home in January 2023 and has settled in well. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the patients. There are lots of activities in the home that she participates in. She is generally very happy in the home. We have no concerns.

What a lovely care home, the staff are great. The hairdresser was lovely and the secretary showed me where my friend was. My friend is being taken care of, we are part of the Saturday gang!
They asked me if I wanted a brew it was lovely.

The family attended the coronation celebrations at Meadow Rose Nursing Home. The home made sure that residents and their guests were well catered for. The buffet and entertainment were excellent.

Staffing, they need more but the staff who do work here are very good which you can not say about the management and the owners. Once again coming back from the hospital I could not get back to my own room as once again the lifts were not working so I had to stay in someone else's room who was ill in
hospital. Then this morning both lifts were still not working. I think they are serviced by a bunch of cowboys and the owners don't seem to care.

Reception area is clean and well-presented. The reception staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. Care staff are efficient, polite and helpful. The food is excellent and the laundry service is excellent. Management are very efficient and professional. I am very pleased

Mom is more settled now she is here at Meadow Rose Nursing Home. Having her moved from a resident home to a nursing home now that she needs the care was best all-round for Mom. It's like she has had a new bit of life brought back to her. Staff are so helpful, loving and caring. Would recommend to anyone

We came for lunch on Mother's Day and were served a lovely dinner by the staff at a beautifully decorated table in the dining room. The food was delicious and all the staff were very caring, looking after Grandma and all the other residents during lunch. It was lovely to get to spend the meal with Grandma
and we really enjoyed it.

Aunt has been a resident for six-plus years. She is suffering from dementia. She is now totally bedridden. She is well cared for, kept clean and comfortable, free from bedsores and treated with love and respect, which is all we, as a family, can ask for. The home is always clean and fresh, with no smells
as you get in some homes. The other residents seem happy with the activities for them, and a lovely garden for them to enjoy. The staff are always friendly and cheerful.

Wonderful place. Staff always go over and beyond to make mums experience the very best every day. I feel at peace knowing mom's being looked after. Visiting is a real joy. Always a happy atmosphere. A positive attitude by all staff.

All staff and management are very welcoming and friendly, residents I interacted with were really happy and comfortable which to me is invaluable.

This is a very welcoming care home. Staff are friendly and well-trained, they are always happy to help with questions and treat the residents with dignity.
The home is very clean, the rooms are decorated to a high standard, and the food is really good which is important.
They really care and take
time to get to know the residents, I can honestly recommend this home.

I just wanted to leave a good review for the staff, they go out of their way to help and care for the residents. On Wednesday they took my grandmother and 2 other residents to a department store to do some shopping then for lunch, all 3 of them had an amazing time. A big thank you to staff, what lovely

I cannot thank the staff enough for the love and care they give to my mum every day. She is happy and content in her own little world and told me today “I love it here”. Every member of staff is kind and patient and gives Mum everything she needs to be happy and safe. She loves the food which always
smells and looks delicious. The care staff make sure she is washed and dressed and her skin is beautifully moisturised and her clothes are always clean (and are actually her own clothes). Her room is spotless and today I saw the staff have put some new pictures we have brought up in her room. Mum has survived the pandemic thanks to the excellent nursing care she has received at Meadow Rose and I cannot thank everyone enough for keeping her safe, keeping in touch, discussing her care with me and giving her hugs, love and entertainment when we cannot be there. Thank you to the manager and the team.

I have been impressed with the care given to my wife at Meadow Rose. The care staff are very good at communicating with my wife and myself. They will advise if they have any concerns and advise on any health care.
The management are excellent in terms of keeping me aware of any changes with the regulations
regarding any changes to COVID regulations.
Overall, I think that Meadow Rose is a very well-run and caring establishment with excellent care and support.

Our mother spent the last 2 years of her life at Meadow Rose and it became home for her and us. She moved in at the start of the pandemic and the whole community became very tight-knit, like a family.
The staff were always caring, helpful and kind. Mom was as happy as she could be and so were we with
the care provided.
Can't recommend it highly enough.

I’m Julie, and I live in Tamworth. I am the owner of a 15-year-old tortie cat, Chrystal. She was a rescue cat at 6 months old. I love animals, and due to this, I am heavily involved in fundraising for a local animal rescue charity. I help organise fundraising events, support with cat homing visits and help with the transportation of donations to various local animal charities.

I was a holiday rep with Thomas Cook for 10 years. I have worked in many countries across the Mediterranean, Spain, Italy and Greece, to name a few. I have done a variety of roles working abroad, everything from looking after children in kids club to taking adults on a bar crawl and meet/greet at the airport. This was a job I loved, as every 6-8 months, I could change destinations, and it inspired my love of travelling. Now that I live back in the UK, I look forward to my holidays and always look for new experiences or new destinations.

I have worked in the care industry for the last 15 years. I started in Domiciliary care before going to work at Good Hope Hospital for 9 years. I worked in a variety of departments, which I loved and learnt so much. I have since worked in areas involving Challenging behaviour, mental health and specialist Dementia nursing homes.

I am proud to be working at Macc Care and looking forward to the new challenges ahead, as well as meeting loads more new people.

About my journey in Macc Care Group:
It all started in December 2014, when I got my bank staff contract in the Domestic Department.
Since then, I have worked continuously for Meadow Rose, taking every day as a new challenge and opportunity to prove myself and help my colleagues, to do my best for our residents.
Working at Meadow Rose, it has not always been easy, going through challenges and hard times (especially the Covid-19 period), but what I can say is that we all have been supported by our Home Manager, Senior Management, Director's Level, etc, when needed.
Meadow Rose is my second Home. I love being part of the Team, I enjoy every day at work, even when I'm extremely busy. I am proud of my colleagues, and together we are Team Meadow Rose.
