Always come to Gwen on a Friday fish and chip day great for all staff always make me feel welcome in home. The care is always 110% given gardner working hard maintenance man always happy to help. All care staff and nurses have been wonderful to Mum. Garden views and wildlife from her bedroom are amazing. Mum and myself have been made to feel so welcome by all. It really is just like home, being able to bring dogs in as well is just great. It's so family-orientated.

Warm, friendly and caring welcome from all staff. They bent over backwards to sort out any issues and make Mum settle in as smoothly as possible, they were so patient with my sister and me with all our anxieties about Mum and the home and always had time and a cheery word for us.

Having come to the difficult decision to place my husband in care - the transition to Gwen Walford was made all the more easier by the staff and high standards with this home. The management and staff are excellent. nothing is too much trouble! It is such a warm, family atmosphere - every part of my husband's care and medical care is taken care of.
