Fremantle Court provides excellent 24 hour residential and nursing care in a bright, spacious and modern care environment. The kind and dedicated care team are passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional care to each individual.

The home has multiple cosy lounge areas which are ideal for friendships to develop and for residents to relax and enjoy the home as they wish.

My mother has been a resident for nearly 3 years now and has just celebrated her 98th birthday. No longer able to easily leave Fremantle Court to go out to celebrate, the home provided a delicious spread of party food so the whole family could visit her in the privacy of a function room - well done
- and once again, my mother was well dressed by the attentive and caring staff. My mother feels at home, thank you.

I found all staff, from the manager to admin and wing to be very professional and took the time to get to know my mother who was a resident for respite care. They were all friendly and treated residents with respect and dignity. They took on board the fact that my mother loved gardening and her need
for fresh air by giving her a ground floor room with access to a small garden area. A relief to know she was in such capable and safe hands.

After visiting my mother in law we always feel uplifted in the knowledge that she’s well cared for and safe. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and you feel that this attitude pervades the whole building. The bedrooms and public areas are clean, bright and modern but homely as well and there’s
a real sense of fun about the place. I have not felt that in other homes I’ve worked in or visited over the past few years. We recently celebrated her 98th birthday at Fremantle and it was a very joyous occasion for her and the whole family. A chance for us all to be together and share the day with the birthday girl! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the quality of the food was extremely high. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fremantle Court for dementia care.

We arranged for my mother-in-law to receive two weeks respite care at Fremantle Court to enable my wife and I to have a break after nine months of challenging caring. Throughout the process from initial enquiry; confirming accommodation availability and date of arrival; care during the two weeks and
collection at the end of her stay, the staff were courteous and professional and made our family feel very welcome. My mother-in-law was a changed person when she came home and although the nature of her dementia meant that this didn't last long, the temporary improvement was extremely welcome.
Should we wish to take advantage of respite care in the future, Fremantle would be our first choice.

During the short time that my mother was a resident at Fremantle Court, she was treated with the utmost care, attention and dignity.
Unfortunately, my mother's health declined more rapidly than expected and her stay was cut short to only a few days. However, she received excellent end of life care
during that short time period and the whole family were very well supported by the staff at such a difficult time.

My mother has been a resident for three years and I have always been impressed with the care she has consistently received over this time, from the dedicated team. She recently celebrated her 98th birthday with all her family around her. The staff, led by the manager, really went the extra mile to ensure
that everything went smoothly with suitable decorations, montages of pictures from her memory book and favourite music chosen. The chef prepared a great buffet which topped it off perfectly. We continue to be so grateful for the attention to detail and the individual care provided.

My wife and I are so grateful to the team at Freemantle for the expert care given to Mum. We always visit unannounced and without exception find her beautifully dressed and cared for. She is treated with kindness and respect. She enjoys her food very much and it has been good to see that she eats well,
something she had lost interest in prior to becoming a resident at Freemantle. We should say that Mum faces the challenge of being virtually blind as well as having dementia and the team, without exception are wonderful.

Yesterday I went to visit a friend. The home is warm and welcoming. Also, it is clean. The staff I met are friendly and helpful. I met my friend in the Croft Room, painting with other residents. We had a lovely happy visit and included chatting with other residents. Everyone was pleased to meet my little
dog, who prefers the older generation to very young children.
All in all, it is a first-class home.

Whilst Fremantle Court is a lovely building, built to dementia care standard it is the staff who make this a good quality care home. They treat the residents with dignity, respect and kindness. They are always looking to improve both the service given and their own levels of experience and training.
The
manager is thoughtful and caring, seeking to operate at the very highest standards.
It was a pleasure to attend both the fireworks evening and the Christmas Bazaar and to see staff there off duty with their own family.

My father was cared for with kindness and compassion. He was living with dementia and required full-time care including feeding and personal care. His carers and nurses treated him with dignity, taking time to understand his history and his likes and dislikes.
The family were greeted by name and kept
up to date with his daily care and given prompt information about changes in condition. His end of life care was personal and tender and the staff were genuinely upset at his passing.
As a nurse, I couldn't have provided better care myself.

Three years ago my mother in law moved into Fremantle Court. The quality of care that he has received is second to none. So much so that when my dad was diagnosed with dementia we knew when the time was right, Fremantle Court was the care home we would like him to call home.
After only a short time,
he is so content and happy there.

My mother has been a resident at Fremantle Court for nearly 12 months and despite originally being nervous and there for respite, she felt safe, well looked after and gradually began to realise that becoming a full-time resident would be in her best interests.
The staff are very friendly and caring
and mum now regards Fremantle Court as her home and tells all her friends it was the best place for her.
The manager is approachable as are all staff on duty.
I am very pleased to hear Fremantle Court has been rated as Good by the CQC which I believe is well deserved.
