Overall Experience
Three years ago my mother in law moved into Fremantle Court. The quality of care that he has received is second to none. So much so that when my dad was diagnosed with dementia we knew when the time was right, Fremantle Court was the care home we would like him to call home.
After only a short time, he is so content and happy there.

We are delighted.

My mother has been a resident at Fremantle Court for nearly 12 months and despite originally being nervous and there for respite, she felt safe, well looked after and gradually began to realise that becoming a full-time resident would be in her best interests.
The staff are very friendly and caring and mum now regards Fremantle Court as her home and tells all her friends it was the best place for her.
The manager is approachable as are all staff on duty.

I am very pleased to hear Fremantle Court has been rated as Good by the CQC which I believe is well deserved.

My father-in-law has been a resident of Freemantle Court since June 2019.

The home is well designed, with a light and airy feel about it. The staff have been excellent in making him feel welcome and settled and have been very welcoming to us when we visit. The care and service provided by the home is second to none, food is first class and the staff work hard to ensure residents eat well and are well hydrated. Residents are encouraged to join the many daily activities or just sit in the well-manicured gardens.

Fremantle Court had their summer party last Saturday, and after days of sunshine, it rained. The hope had been to get all the residents outside but the staff quickly revised the plan, and a great party was held indoors. A great deal of work, effort and thought had clearly been made by everyone concerned and it was wonderful to see so many residents enjoying themselves. They especially enjoyed the singer and we all joined in rousing choruses of many old songs. There was ample food and drink, colourful decorations, a Western theme, and many stetsons and boots to adorn the staff.

Well done to all concerned, and better luck with the weather next time.

We attended the care home summer party, we found our friend settled and pleased with the care given to him. He made new friends and his spirit was positive. He has decided to extend his stay there. It's a lovely place to stay, the elderly feel safe and welcome and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in need of excellence in his care.

Thank you the manager and the team lead by one lady, for looking after my Dad for two weeks respite. Dad had been fairly poorly and lost a lot of confidence prior to coming to stay at Fremantle Court.
Dad was made to feel welcome and was very well cared for. The facilities are great, the standard of care is very high and this allowed Dad time to concentrate on his health and wellbeing with positive outcomes. The member of staff was extremely diligent and compassionate during my initial visit where I was apprehensive about what was best for Dad and provided reassurance and validation that Fremantle Court was a very good option for Dad.

Thank you, I recommend Fremantle Court 100% to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation.

Mum has been at Freemantle Court since 2014 after a rapid decline into dementia. It had been an awful time where I was constantly worried. Freemantle Court is brilliant. The staff are professional and kind. It is always well kept, the residents are looked after. I haven't worried about mum since. I wouldn't dream of moving her, she's in absolutely the best place.

As soon as I walked in I liked the atmosphere. The layout of the spaces was homely and comfortable. The residents seemed calm and peaceful. I was extremely grateful to be offered lunch in a secluded area with my friend that I was visiting at the time. I felt my friend was as happy as she ever could be in the circumstances. The staff were most helpful.

My mother arrived at Fremantle Court last November. She has been made very welcome and is receiving excellent care.

In my opinion, all care homes should be modelled on Fremantle, with its thoughtful design and beautiful wildflower meadows which surround the building.

Deepthi JoseJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2026

Deepthi began her nursing career in India, qualifying in 2008 before relocating to the UK in 2010. While settling into life in the UK, she worked as a Senior Carer and successfully completed the examinations required to transfer her nursing registration. After qualifying as a Registered Nurse, Deepthi progressed into leadership roles, including Unit Manager for a 48-bed unit within a 120-bed nursing home, and later Clinical Lead within a 28-bed nursing home.

Over more than ten years with the same organisation, she gained significant experience in clinical practice and operational management, supporting colleagues to deliver high standards of care while ensuring residents’ individual needs remained at the centre of everything she did.

In 2020, Deepthi took on the role of Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead at Lewin House, where she continued to uphold strong clinical governance and provide clear, compassionate leadership until January 2026. She has now joined Fremantle Court as Home Manager, leading the home into its next chapter.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, Deepthi has remained committed to ongoing development. She has completed a postgraduate nursing certificate at Oxford Brookes University and is currently undertaking a Level 5 Operational Management course to further strengthen her leadership and management skills.

Deepthi said:

“I am proud to join Fremantle Court as Home Manager. For me, this home is more than a workplace; it is a community where compassion, dignity and high-quality care guide everything we do. My priority is to ensure our residents feel safe, respected and truly at home, while supporting our colleagues to deliver care they can be proud of every day.”

Deepthi’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Fremantle Court. With her strong clinical background and commitment to collaborative leadership, she is focused on building on the home’s positive reputation and ensuring it remains a warm, welcoming place for residents, families and colleagues alike.
